  1. 1750-1850? but so much good stuff before and after that. especially the early 20th century stuff and the many 17th century jetons I think I have one of those overdate centimes.
  2. depends doesn't it? i know french coins had both mint and privy marks and i tohugh some hammered pieces has 2 marks as well.
  3. you can't have Lady jane Grey, and its just the specific monarchs, if Matilda is possible it would be fun. would love a philip and mary double portrait but, those are way out of my league, even a very worn example is over £20. and that defies the point of having it >.> I think both my mary and Philip and pary are groats. well, Philip and mary is sort of 60% of a groat but they are a pain to find. i think the shilling is on my wants list, but they go for far too much. especially as some are dated. my main focus, as it should be is the war of the roses currently.
  4. not a combined bust for Phillip and mary, just a normal coin with thier names in the legend in the legend never seen any cheap Johns, and richard I, let alone touching the prices for even a particle of a norman coin also a question o steven, are they under him, or Matilda or are there both?
  5. as you know, i am doing a monarch run (very slowly now >.>) currently got all the way back to Henry VII (Yes i even have a James II, and a colonial Edward VIII ) but here is the thing. should posthumous Henry VIII coin as Henry or as Edward (my Henry VIII seems to be matching up to posthumous issues) . and should I count Mary and Phillip and Mary as seperates. but the real question lies in War of the roses. and identifying earlier halfs, quarters etc to find a Differant monarch named under Henry (Richard, John etc) as there would be little identification. i have a coin from war of the roses, but in a usual state, clipped, but has the distinguishing D in the middle of the reverse (from what i gather was a mint only used in that period. But only half a monarchs head to play with, its difficult to identify fully. does anyone have any quick visial identifications i can use to distinguish.
  6. so hard. Edward VII florins are good, put i prefer gothics, problem is those depend on grade and toning i dont like early standing liberty prefer this design no UK desings for circulation hold water to these only the William Wyon patterns
  7. ebay is nearly empty. 2 days now its like 200 items a day finishing
  8. i like the shape
  9. buy me a newark shilling?
  10. Canadians hate that
  11. it is americans >.>
  12. O.O £150? lol
  13. as much as it is nice to hold the coin, i would love slabbed ones as you know that they are safe from easy accedental damage. or not in this case
  14. you lot are all dirty, beach volleyball indeed >.> there is a reason it is on BBC3... so the dirty minded chavvy teens can watch some soft porn quite intersting the relase of new tickets, as Womans GB football team could get to the semis, against USA (one of the best in the world) at old trafford, which is a reachable event. if GB make it, it will be cheering on GB against one of the bes tin the world, which is a bit special. its a big maybe that one.
  15. it was behind the TV remote and the keys to wembley
  16. nah i like the 1799 george, i tink it is more how it looks with the legend etc that makes it i like the high 1806, but not for the ugly bloke, but how it looks and feels.
  17. but they usualy get discussed in other threads so you can never find the info
  18. hard to say, probably the facing portraits of the tudors but i dont have a nice example of it, been some nice roman ones as well. probably this overall
  19. yes great idea, and can we get one for varieties.
  20. yea, those are halfpennies, and not MS either
  21. i bought a Julia Domna denarius last week for £27 fantastic grade, shame it has a chunk missing. could be cleaned but has a nice colour to it regardless. i rarely buy roman, i usualy get the odd one in ebay bulk lots, which has a mix of stuff in i love sorting through and identifying... but not very well usualy with roman, usualy portrait is worn in those so hard, or legend has bits missing
  22. thats 90% too much lol
  23. nah, i mean people selling 1ps and 50ps people can sell stuff at 1p and 50p, more of that
