    Our village post office has bags of new coins.Also ask at your favourite supermarkets.

    I got my mother to source them from the whist drives she helps run. 50p entrance fee and all the oldies knew I was after the Olympic coins. My old Aunt Flo had a bag containing notes going back to the 50's and let me have some. During the summer when college was closed I went to decorate her house and ended up getting a full 3 course dinner everyday.Ahh a students life

    They are baggage although they look like my wife (stunning). They have cost me so much £ I wanted a son to take me to the pub. My eldest was voted as the best body in the local Witherspoons.I do have a big truncheon

    Paulus I remember the times when playing the fruit machines on holiday. My parents would give my sister and i a pound each of pennys. I would the snatch the coins to go through them. The best ever present at Xmas was a 1914 shilling and a 1901 farthing from my sister...Beat that.

    Stuart Can I and Mrs Peter come and live with you on the long boat. I will sell my homes and arrive in my MG.We could talk coins all day and.....I like a bit of fishing. I do need a nutter motorbike and a VAT of cider....not in that order or to be mixed with.

    We have 4 lap tops and a desk top.Trouble is mine is in the lounge and the lazy buggers use it like my ebay,amazon and even Tesco account.When £150 of cupcakes and booze turn up for my eldest girls evening.I mean NO BEER.

    The last fair I attended I picked up 3 large date and a small date 1875 farthing priced at Heaton mint prices and R/E 1856...the same seller had a 1718 halfpenny as a farthing.The silver hammered were overpriced though.

    One seller didn't put up pictures.I just checked feedback and hey presto.....I filled my boots. Those days are gone I still get bargains from coin fairs and outside of the UK.....you have to love Krause. .

    I like the excitement of an auction live.I have plenty of time to change my mind. At one time I used a stopwatch....remember the dial up days....timing was everything.

    I still have my Pracktica B200 and still love it.It will bounce and still be perfect.

    I too sneek my Nikon D40 out.(I have 3....why ? is Mrs Peters quote) I also have many George 1 farthings Never a dull moment in our house. HNY to everyone

    1978 was a great year for me.I lost my virginity and super Ipswich won the FA cup.I also had my 1st motorbike and a 1717 farthing.
