    Thanks Paulus for the link. I've got the cameras and lenses.I just need to spend some time on it. I've got some must do's on my MG and a growing list of work to do around my mothers and our tennents bungalows.(and our own house)

    No, i don't want too sell it now nor does he want to buy it, he just thought that if he bought 2 coins he'd get a £200 rebate. Some ebayers just think they can buy coins at 95% off the asking price. I had one in 2012 send a £30 offer on an 1850 shilling that was priced at £2000 You can usually get maybe 10-15%.If too expensive I would walk away.

    What you buy is bit of a give away. I bought 1 wife and it still works for me. Punch above your weight. Mine will get me a nice cuppa in the morning and gives me a 68 I will owe her one. I can still buy any coin I want...she knows

    Stuart it is good.One sniff and I'm away.Considering what I spend on coins Verdicare and acetone is a deffo. It will be the price of a decent malt. Also Pecks silver dip with a cotton bud.

    keep off my home town coins and history. I now have moved 7 miles away but a Bury boy through and through...I just couldn't live anywhere else....I mean we had our own mint.Manchester mint,Liverpool mint PAH.

    I started on collecting pre 1992 copper but after collecting about £10 it was worth £15 I gave up. I still have BU mint rolls of 60's cu and a load of decimals my great,great grandson/daughter might benefit.

    History and reading up are part of the collecting pleasure. May I suggest Edward 1 silver 1d's which are so cheap. I'm working through the mints and classes.

    Welcome to the forum It must be nice to be named Rich. I would suggest you read up on your subject,search the net,look at Ebay and auctions before you dip your toe. I can't say it will be an investment although you may get lucky. We all use different storage methods it is down to your own preference at the end of the day.I have a cabinet,trays,albums,flips.aluminium cases ETC. One piece of advice is buy the best you can afford. Just enjoy it.

    Still going strong, Peter! 17 days since I smoked properly, and 13 since my last puff (which wasn't strictly tobacco, but I'm not risking smoking that either this early on....too risky). Money seems to be behaving very strangely - appears to arrive in my pocket and stay there. It's never done that before... Excellent Declan I still treat myself to a Cuban or a camberwell
