  1. Unique Important part of UK history. I'm glad the reverse was retained for the 1937 crown.
  2. Surface hairlines with AU details appear to suggest it has been cleaned.
  3. If it was 1693 it would be so rare..a couple of copper farthings I know exist. Often the date is not apparent due to the lack of quality control in the striking and Britannia has no head. There are some nice examples but cost a fortune.
  4. It is 1694 but worn and corroded.I would read its last rights and confine it away from your collection
  5. Anyone with two legs...or even a wheelchair can get around the Midland fair and buy quality. I've done it so much leaving the family in a swimming pool hotel..I do an early brekkie. On the way home I have a pocket full of coins KFC if they are lucky.OK a deal at the hotels is dirt cheap. We did Mcdonalds hotel for £99 including brekkie....four meals plus breckfasr. The small birdie type things was appalling.
  6. A good stiff drink helps reduce vibration. I still only do Ebay quality pictures. There is plenty to learn on coin photography.
  7. Lauer play money if I'm not mistaken.
  8. My purse has a pit....Just trying to find the bottom is the problem...if it makes me happy
  9. Apart from farthings I'm a quality collector rather than quantity but still have 1000's to shift.
  10. Silly money for a common coin.£3 max.
  11. Upgrades...keep em all.
  12. Each to their own .When we all get exited over small discs of metal I do wonder.Oh my wife is about to slap me around the chops with a 20lb cod.
  13. Anything over £250 buy or sell doesn't happen with me on Ebay. I have picked up some nice stuff and shifted a few bits.I still think it a great 24/7 resource.
  14. I found the Tesco burgers on our local pub menu. They were under starters. When they were served to me I took one sniff and THERE OFF.
  15. Food inspectors were at B&Q's flooring department...they had found Lam inate
  16. I would love a quality P&M or even a M....ONE DAY
  17. Regardless of cost it is whether you can live with it and get than warm glow when you look at it.Nope not for me.
  18. Worth a 99p punt
  19. I think you are a prime suspect for Michael Freemans bronze coinage book initially. There are further references.Your English is good and the illustrations should help you.Wellcome.
  20. Dave My wallet has stronger elastic than trying to pull a Scots girl lifting up her Knickers from around her ankles.(One in Kenmore...nice holiday.)Although her older sister gave my mate a dose....that was 30 years ago I must admit to buying a few bits of rubbish today.
  21. I have a massive stack of them. The prices are amazing for rarities and crap. Always a good read. Pre internet I would buy from the adverts.
  22. A business shiller...sorry seller and one of MP's buddies. What a complete TW*T A grade for that would be poor/fair
  23. Not even a clever mod, just a misprunt. I agree with Obr
  24. Yep As Rob says it would be a clever post mint mod of an earlier coin. but the wrong kings head
  25. I thought 3 "experts" were meant to grade and define every coin.I suggest TPG's start employing experts.
