Do you know which years? I have three of their SCBC books (1997, 2004, 2011) and none came with a jigsaw.

From memory they started it in 2011 (or maybe 2010). The book came with a postcard that you had to send off to get a jigsaw. They might have stopped it once supply ran out.

It was the 2009 edition.

Anyone know if you can still send in for it? I've got a 2009 edition of Spinks I bought from a used bookstore and it still had the flier that you could send in and get the jigsaw.

Thanks for that. Were they all Henry 8 puzzles or a random selection from a group of puzzles?

I believe each year had a puzzle of its cover coin.

I believe they were all Henry VIII puzzles as that was the 2009 cover illustration, but I can't be certain.

I was in bed before 3.15am surely. But i work late shifts everyday and don't finish until 12.30am and get home at around 12.45am but obviously can't go directly to bed, so i'm normally up for another hour, sometimes longer

Red. Not everyone feels the need to spend all night asleep. Turn in at 3, start dozing off by 5 and get up at 7 on the grounds it's too warm to sleep. A normal summer night.

One to be wary of and has been reported as being a fake

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...ME:B:SS:GB:1123

'1860 Halfpenny dug up in backyard', is actually a chinese fake, several of these were on Ebay along wirh 1845, 48 and 51 halfpennies a couple of years back,

The distinguishing feature on all these coins is the extended serif on the first 1.

I wish I could get my dug copper coins to look like that!

Did he really think that adding that it was a MD find would really improve his odds?

Also, do you think that the pics really are of his coin or that he just Googled 1860 copper penny? Because the 2 pictures look different in the coloring, the large picture shows a nice, red, copper example while the close up shows one that looks very brown and dull.
