The Coinery Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Hi As you are I am always trying to improve my collection. I collect all Pennies and I am always up for discussing them. At the moment I am working upon my Edward VII Pennies. Below is a list of my Edward VII Pennie collection and if you can either add to the variations or have information or have any coins which will improve or add to my collection I would really like to hear from you wether they are unslabbed or slabbed. PWA 1967 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Hi Guy this post would be better moved into the wanted section. Also the vast majority of people on here dont use C.G.S. and therefore dont have an account . You would for future reference be better rather than using the code/ref numbers describing the coin. Pete.
The Coinery Posted April 17, 2016 Author Posted April 17, 2016 Hi Pete. If I could find the "Wanted" section I would use it - hahahha
mrbadexample Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Those links work though Pete - I can see the coins and I don't have an account.

Nordle11 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Moved it to the wanted section for you Guy, it's at the bottom of the forum in the 'For sale and wanted' part.
jon Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I would love to see your Edward VII coins @The Coinerybut I am not a member of CGS and the joining fee is £99
Paulus Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 (edited) CGS need to address this, enquiries are afoot. It's a fantastic reference resource and it would be a shame (and stupid) if non-members (not to mention existing members!) could not verify coins without paying a substantial fee. Here is Guy's 1903 'Closed 9 in Date' Penny, as an example: Edited April 17, 2016 by Paulus

Garrett Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I can't see the coins either. I get asked to log in and when I go to sign-up it's pretty clear they want 99 pounds.
Peter Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I've got a login from when they 1st went live so no problem for me.It seems a strange decision for new members.
Rob Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I never got around to joining, so it's as you were for me.

Nordle11 Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Guy, if you have it could you send me the penny list with the photos too? Saves searching each UIN. Also, I gave Jon my login details for the CGS site so he should have access now.

Yes they are all safe in the bank. British Edward VII coins of all denominations are the core of my ecliptic collection. Of these my Edward VII Pennies are my favourite denomination. Should you ever want a HD photo for you research or pleasure just let me know.
