There is a way to reduce the kb size but still keeping the image 800x800 when you get the option to save save @ 95% even though it is 5% and doesn't really affect your pic quality the KB size is reduced by some margin my pic @ 800x800 was 463 kb when saved @ 95% it reduced the kb to 262 kb. So a tiny loss in detail if any means you can keep a large picture and a low upload size. plus save as .jpg as .png and bitmap images are far larger

Did you see what he wrote further down lmao. Now I can only guess who it was aimed at lol. Short version" I am not saying it is a coin" (means he knows it's not)" I don't know what it is"(you know it's fake )" And for all you nasty's out there who have messaged me" (I guess that's you guys lols). Then further down his sales pops up an Elizabeth I HalfGroat in Detailed description with mintmark association etc. So begs the question he can recognise Elizabeth I Halfgroat but has no idea what an Elizabeth I Penny looks like Well I assume it is . Wouldn't of been to his own advantage to just say contemporary and not make himself look like a total sleeze bag and have to write ridiculous statements of intent. Another troll with 100% FB rating. I wish some watchdog body would swoop on that place.

Good morning good people . Two 1917 pennies but differences on reverse. Left hand coin larger legend especially noticeable the size of the P inner dimensions . Also missing waves along the left hand border. It has a very strange feature on the tide line. If you look on coin 2 where the normal tide line on the shield side it goes in a straight line and reaches the shield rock just over halfway up. Whereas on coin 1 the tide is angled downwards and meets the rock much lower down. Thoughts?

Bought this . I love the patina on this coin. Looks like a Hypo coin which I would guess is a scarce thing on 1950 pennies?

Fake fake fake. as for the 1971 penny guy. I requested he do the human race a favour and terminate his auction before the police come banging on his door for attempting to solicit Funds through deception. What ever that means I aint got a clue heard it in a film sounded good so went with it lmao

Probably fake news again . the Sun online or the Mail online. Neither have anything to do with the real newspapers

Could it be that due to the inherent problems with striking b- metal coins and now a 12 sided one they may have broken dies or used more of them than they thought they would . Also if something was causing a problem they could of slightly altered the design to see if it had the desired effect. Every pound coin I have has something wrong with it. Be it a design flaw or extra metal.

Shocking . Well more fool the nuggets that bid on modern replica's. It isn't as if there is no images on the site to compare with all they needed to do was this

I know I see a lot of things on coins that well could be something or could be nothing. For me that's the exciting part as was with this coin. 1959 Irish Halfcrown Is one of my favourite Coin designs. Now I know the pic is of a horrible colour but then again how many are not? that being said and I just put it down to bad lighting and the wrong use of correction tools. Looking beyond all that I notice a PM mint mark high above the tail of the horse along with the normal one below the line under the back hooves. The coin arrives and suddenly that PM is no longer there. Kind of annoying if it was done on purpose deceive but possibly due to the picture being so horrible in colour a double exposure of some kind?

Very different grading of 1746 LIMA HC by (L)CGS
zookeeperz replied to Paulus's topic in TPG Discussions
Which was the point of my slightly ranted post I have had some unsavoury dealings with them. Your coins are always under graded for the sole reason it makes their higher grades worth more. The conflict of interest is massive. They grade the coins so they know exactly what they own against the market coins. They then auction the coins and bid on them leaving out a lot of descriptions as to what is in the lots. I know from first hand twice they stitched me up. then they sell the coins after grading them. You only need look at coins of similar appearance in their auctions and head scratch how on earth the grade is so far apart. Simple fact is all our raws will be under graded and they will try to purchase them. Whilst the coins of theirs will be given higher grades . I do not think any company should have that much influence over the industry. To be quite frank they have us by the balls and the whole collecting fraternity by the throat. -
Very different grading of 1746 LIMA HC by (L)CGS

The coin on the left is unc and the coin on the right is VF. Both LCA coins. And I am sorry but I fail to see the grades of either. Especially the VF that's just a mickey take. If I sent that coin in and it came back VF I would personally drive down to CGS and ram it down their throats. I suspect as there are 2 of these coins so called UNC are their own raws. As other examples which a much better quality do not even get to GEF
