  3. Another pickup from york a political token from middlesex a rare token and ever popular . Not in the best of grade but again great VFM
  4. I think its the simple complexity of the collecting and hundreds of different varieties that puts people off - but they are great little pieces of social history and art and also show the rapidly changing social and economic pressures of the time

I remember the last e/r I had in my collection I picked up in brum it was in around fine-good fine grade and cost me £6 , I got it off a shouldhavegonetospecsavers dealer who never noticed it and I sold it a couple of years later for £32 on the bay it was very popular . I think the coin pictured is worth at least £100 pos £125 or so , still a great buy. Would grade as GVF with the ek getting a mention as well. Poss you could grade VGVF though thats debateable

  19. Edward Vii was about twenty five years old in 1866 , how come they knew what he looked like 35 years later when he was not even king yet. I think queen victoria might have objected to him being called king and emperor of india even in a caretaker roll
