  1. Try finding a 1862 fat eight farthing for your collection paddy - thats a hard one to find
  2. I would really like to own that 1721. farthing its a lot better than the one in my collection
  3. The 1721 farthing with a dot is not as rare as the 1721/0 but I would hazard a guess at 10 out of 100 random coins of this date would be about right the 1721/0 is probably about 4 in a 100
  4. I was not just that, with the industial devestation in the north a but of luck was needed as well - I was very lucky I sailed though the major and thatcher years and only claimed a weeks unemployment benefit admitedly I was never on good wages but I was gainfully employed as they say
  5. well lets hope the earth never comes in contact with a black hole
  6. Any coin featureing steven hawkins has got to be out of this world
  7. If it is a fake it would certainly be accepted by 99% of the population
  8. MMMMMmmmmm yes the mouth and eyes dont seem right as welll , it is a posabillity
  9. I found this 2015 £2 coin in my change the other day , to be honest it looks like a proof or at least an ex set or something , the thing that made me check it twice was the prooflike appearence , it just seemed interesting . After checking out the coin I suddenly realised it has no "STANDING ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS" on the edge this is really dificult to picture but trust me there is just the normal reeded edge and no sign of the letters which appear on all £2 coins 1998-2015 to the best of my (little) knowledge.
  10. rse holes
  11. Unless your under ten years old LOL.
  12. I think that the person who did this was more a seller of the coins on ebay than a collector
  13. I have been called an -unt many times so it is not just a female thing LOL .

  17. NEF and rare in that grade - its been in a cabinet a long time
  18. Bet the person who lost it was really gutted - must have been a couple of weeks wages back then
  19. great news for buyers then
  20. If there is no "No returns " policy does that count for the time limits that people put as well Ie 7 days or 14 days if so you would be allowed to return the coin / coins after say six months . Seems like a great deal for buyers
  21. If you give it a ring and compare the sound to another genuine silver hammered coin it sould tell you if its in the right metal
  22. Well the truth is its either a fake or not , there is no middle ground i'm afraid. so its either worth £200 or £2
  23. why would someone" give away" a £200 coin - just a thought.
