  1. It has to be serious when this happens The Comparethemarket price comparison site has pulled ads featuring the animated rich Russian meerkat Aleksandr Orlov from news bulletins and content about the Ukraine war. The firm said it had reviewed its media strategy due to the sensitivities around the Russian invasion. Orlov, and sidekick Sergei, feature in one of the advertising industry's most recognised campaigns. The firm stressed in a statement: "The meerkats are fictional characters." Comparethemarket continued: "They have no association with Russia and the current situation. We are continually reviewing our advertising to ensure we're being sensitive to the current situation."

  3. I had one that looked similar I broke it out of it's plastic package and it still has a little goldish glow after all these years really quite attractive , it's certainly better than an ord cn coin the coin resides among my decimal qe2 coins, I never collected all decimal crowns just the ones I thought were important.

  19. Typical poor reporting from the mail hacks - the edward Viii penny is NOT copper the last penny in copper apart from a couple of patterns or proofs was 1860. They repeatedly make basic mistakes like this even a schoolboy coul;d do a better job

  21. Lots of forgeries of 1/4 farthings are appearing on ebay and appear to be selling a good prices acording to compleated listings - they are obvious fakes and I suspect some dodgy deals are going on allong with shill bidding so any new collectors should stay well clear of these .
