  1. I think Sweep wants a George slaying the dragon reverse, in silver, and ideally Eddie 7! Could get all 3 much cheaper as 3 separate coins!
  2. Only spoke to Michael quite recently, I had no idea!
  3. Where are you getting the price guide of £70 in EF from? It is £240 in EF in my Spink 2013. You are probably looking at at least £140 for a problem-free EF 1902 Crown (regular issue) - be aware that this issue is also available in matt proof.

    1937 Crown

I agree with Stuart, in fact pretty much all G6 silver is reasonably affordable in as struck BU with a little patience (depending on one's budget of course!)

    1937 Crown

Little to no wear but the obverse has digs in the field at 4 o/c and marks on the King's cheek

    1937 Crown

Looks like it may have been dipped and/or cleaned to me
  7. I'll sort one out shortly Paul. Incidently, how much did your Fläming hair sell for on fleabay? £101.25 Dave, it was nF
  8. Any pics of the rev Dave?
  9. But in the end he is left with a woman who thinks he is someone else ... still love the film though, one of only ten or so I watch again and again!
  10. Love that film, even though ultimately he cheats to get what he wants!
  11. You are incorrigible Peter!
  12. You did find a mega bargain recently Scott, that's for sure!
  13. Absolutely classic Rob, I enjoyed reading that!
  14. There's a flood of 'em!
  15. Oh no! Someone else won it - was it one of us?
  16. Trouble is that the under-bidder is at £422 and the 3rd highest at £401, so it would drop to £411 (I think?) and he/she may end up buying it!
  17. Normality is restored
  18. Thanks Rob. I appreciate the info.. Hopefully someone can help fill my holes. (The best place for you is the Freudian Numismatic Company...) You are a wag Peck, shame they didn't make the film 'Carry On Collecting' ... a perfect opportunity for Peter to contribute?
  19. Hard to believe people willing to spend that sort of money cannot know their subject to this extreme degree!!!
  20. The 1918 and 1919 KNs are much rarer are worth considerably more than the Hs, which in turn are rarer than the plains
  21. Sorry Dan, I was only lolling because the 1933 is mega rare, if you are trying to get a complete date run you might have to accept that that year will always be a gap! There are plenty of penny collectors on here (I am not one of them), you should be able to fill most of the other gaps relatively easily (depending on the grade you are after!)
  22. 33! lol
  23. "1967 Penny, BU or better, ex eBay 2014"
