  1. Love to see them police that, 3 million UK websites, that will keep em busy Hopefully if we all ignore it. It will go away Seriously though can the EU not find better things to spend their time on! Banannas that are to bent springs to mind

  6. Lol, i won't do that Peter, eventually people will waken up to what they BOTH do. The info on him is around the internet, a lot of people know what they do, so if they want to keep getting burnt then it's up to them. With his UNC grading, he's obviously going to try for top end price. Lets sit back and see where it goes.Any bets on price? I'm going for 4 figures at least It's also interesting that this account is not a business account, but that is clearly what they are doing. eBay are usually pretty smart at making the link between connected accounts. Ebay turn a blind eye when it comes to them making money.........Anyone got an Eimer book, looking for a typical price for Ei. 221 in EF (Charles II Coronation Medal by Thomas Simon) Ta

  8. You could easily have got much more than £400 for that one, Dave. Didn't realise that was you when I saw the seller, as I thought you were in Germany. A lustrous one went for £900 at London Auctions in September 2010. r one, as it was running well ahead on "bids" even before yours had sold, despite the fact that yours is a demonstrably superior grade, with lustre. Yep, something wrong there. It's patently obvious. Your coin shows up the problem in stark relief. I'm amazed they didn't pull the other one immediately, and wait. I started a small shop Mike with my buddy, it seemed more logical for me to send the coins to him other than from Germany as i believe that buyers when they see where a coin comes from they tend not to bid or buy as well as if it were in the UK So now i send all the coins to him, i do the listings etc and he ships the coins out, usually within 24hrs of payment.........I ask for paymnet within 3 days, keeps things turning over quicker, so i hope this buyer does also or else i relist.
  9. f***n( 385) sonofcork, a regular on his ebay name and from Oz h***h( 9666) anthonys46 has been cropping up very frequently, not sure if he's genuine yet or not c***c( 580) patrickc another from Oz and another regular on his ebay e***n 301 is i'm sure johnnyrubbernose, he's genuine, but obviously going to get stung. I have his email address, will give him a quick email and check. This thread will self destruct shortly i'm sure
  10. When you shill bid, it pays http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1875H-VICTORIA-BRONZE-BUN-HEAD-PENNY-EXTREMELY-RARE-/120908004091?clk_rvr_id=340393743100 Mine sold for 400 last night, with lustre............Pathetic
  11. Took a small gamble, it's a nice coin even if it does'nt turn out to be the 53/2
  12. She clearly has a hooked nose in the underlying profile
  13. Definately a nice looking coin Richard and for £35 its a decent price to in my opinion. Not sure its 3/2 though, but the middle line of the 3 does look odd. Can you PM me the web address please
  14. I sent one back to CC because of the grading
  15. Can we seee some photos and descriptions of what to look for please? I'll 3rd that - we need to see pictures. It was verified as fake by CGS - their reference (or UIN) was 0019679. I've no chance of uploading a pic with maximum allowable file size of 150 K !! You can also use photobucket to host your coin and Paste the link in your reply
  16. Nice, i'd say NEF , wee scratch across Eddies head, but nice looking coin
  17. These recuts are quite normal, nothing to worry about
  18. A recut number
  19. The tin farthing also looks quite good apart from the hole on the OBV. It is a hole? Did you also sell this?
  20. Which auction house, may I ask? Unfortunately I can think of many like that. But there's one in London that is particularly famous for that and then charges astronomical prices. Looks like a fight is on between Clve and Rob for this coin...........Best of luck gents
  21. And this surprises you why Dane? Obviously the 1st was looking for massive profit. I won't ask the name to save him from embaressment
  22. So the 2 catalogues came and has the realised prices inside to. Bit of a bonus
