  1. He won't be able to give Barton away let alone sell him after that NUMPTY that he is
  2. I did email and ask if they added a zero to many as i think 800k is more realistic a price for this rarity
  3. From the same seller 190674823477 Apparently (their words not mine) edward IV silver hammered groat coin, this is not chocolate money and worth more Such a pity, as i was wanting the Chocolate version, ah well, i'll continue my search
  4. How ironic, a Mr Charles Green the former Sheffield Utd owner has taken over at Rangers from a Mr Whyte, making it Mr Green and Whyte which should please the Celtic fans no end in their ongoing banter with the Govan end of Glasgow
  5. He'll need to invest if the get into the Champions League where the big cash is, he'll be rubbing his hands and saying thank god i did'nt sell now with all that cash possibly coming
  6. azda, i sincerely hope that you and peckris both understand that my posts were meant in good faith and also meant to differentiate between the bad that occurs on ebay, those you have highlighted as shill bidders, those who clearly sell the utmost of polished crap, designed to mislead, and the genuine dealer, whom may have had a difference in grading to personal levels. we may all disagree on grade of a particular coin at times with bona fida dealers, that happens, we have different ideas and ideals, different knowledge of a specific coin/dies....etc etc, but it sure must be difficult to be all embracing. azda....how many times have you come on here to ask for die pairings/references for a particular penny.....loads azda....how many times have you asked for a grading on a particular coin...................................loads does that make you or any other here better than CC or Rendell........maybe yes, maybe no. but yes it does make YOU and Peckris and CC and Rendell and all the others here far and away better than the those shill bidders, crap sellers on ebay...........and that was the whole point of my original post....... im gonna leave this forum now................theres clearly no place for a prick like me here. ski I wouldn't worry, ski. There will always be disagreements with people even in the most (normally) harmonious of settings. Doesn't mean they're by default right, and you're wrong. Sometimes they will be and sometimes you will be. Sometimes you will both be half right and half wrong. Whichever, it's not worth putting yourself down and leaving for, as it will all be forgotten in a few days anyway. If you have something to say, say it, and if it happens to upset someone, then tough do dahs. It's life, it's the way it is. You should see many of the comments made and insults exchanged on some forums. Makes the worst of what you see on here look like a Sunday School outing. That's the trouble with fora, a timid gutless coward all of a sudden grows a pair the size of watermelons as he sits at his computer 2000 miles away from the poor recipient of the hurtful dirge. As Mike said Ski, divn't worry aboot it marra. I've got skin thicker than a Rhinos arse so you or anybody else might get me revved up for a minute or two but after that I start to worry about more important things like "can Newcastle stuff the Toffees the day?" Pardew deserved the Manager of the year award. Wonder what that numpty will do now though (Ashley) probably sack his most successful Manager in 10 years
  7. And their quote meaning "we would like you to bid it up to thaz range also, so er can make loadsa moneyyy" lol
  8. Ahhh, ya big ole softy, Azda! Och i know
  9. Perhaps a coconut fell on his head and he's not been at the jungle juice after all. Go to A&E and they'll give you a free asprin.
  10. Habe you been drinking the jungle juice Ski? My previous post stated that no offence was take me old China. Please take an asprin in the morning for your hangover and er can have a wee smile the morra about your dear John last post. I loves ya ski xxx
  11. And those awful feckin slabs and no offence was taken here either, i was merely stating my buying experience from Ingrams. Its was like the Brits at the Eurovision Song contest, NIL POIT My money is on the 4 Russian grannys, they'll Walk it, cos Vlad the impailer says so
  12. Lol, an old workmate of mine had that done...........
  13. Out of the 1st 2, the one Paulus pointed out to you looks to be the one thats polished/cleaned, very shiny indeed
  14. At the end of the day, its your money and your own choice, if you like the coin then go with it, everyone here has their own opinions of grade, and if you ask 10 people about the Same coin you're going to get differences everytime. If you like it and it has eye appeal to you then buy it.
  15. I mentioned CC, that i sent a coin back to him as i did'nt agree with the grade, he freely accepted the return and got my money back as did Chris Perkins i think mentioned the same.
  16. Ski, my post was'nt slagging off Ingram, it was my opinion as i've bought from him, so my opinion counts in that respect. If you buy from him then your opinion would count to. 1949 has also bought from him and has the same opinion as me, so, so far that 2 out of 2 misses regarding his grading. If you bought the same coins from ebay i'm sure you'd send them back if they were'nt to your standards, nothing to do with slagging, merely stating fact... Oh and we seem to have missed another dealer from the site. John Stephenson, no one tried his site? Dave
  17. Are you talking about Rendel Ingram ski? His grading is terrible in my opinion, i bought 2 coins from him but won't be back after what he sent. 1st coin in the post i can't see cleaning being evident 3rd coin has a scratch on the OBV, but as most would say, its your money and your choice.
  18. Well unfortunately you have been well and truly screwed. Next time, make sure you state that international Post costs extra and Must be insured with tracked postage, there's a Lot of this going on and so i send everything insured with Express delivery, if they don't like it they don't need to buy, simples.....
  19. Postage from the Vaterland is around 5 working days. 10/14 days would mean to me that it was'nt posted until 2/3 days after payment at least
  20. If you sold the item through the UK site then why should you have to respond in German, it should be the Germans who would have to respond in English surely? Another thing is, 3 days to Germany from the UK for delivery is quite non existant, i should know, i live here and buy from there
  21. Thanks Mr X
  22. Ok, i've reduced it from half the previous size, maybe it helps?
  23. So, is this the same coin as the original post. I have it down as S1154, but i struggle with the legends on these hammered coins.
