  1. Our any price.
  2. Have you tried a search on google images?
  3. Amazing hoard (I wish I had a spare £9.5 kicking around.)
  4. The forum is good for alerting fakes and scum who import the Shang Hi silver. Look at the Alibah bah site .
  5. As I said a lot of deals were done for fish on the beaches around our coast. If you can id landing points you could get lucky.Nothing better than beach combing on a fine winter day and ending up in the pub.
  6. Wait to see some of Paulus's coins OK they are not copper but rather tempting.
  7. Imagine what is worth when lost. We holiday in North Norfolk with our Springer. Apparently lots of deals were done on the beaches...ie coins I have found fossils and amber but no groats (a few coins) I get up early and bring back hot bread for early risers...usually me. I get hot crabs but don't tell Mrs Peter. She likes the Rock(Peter)
  8. Wish he was back.....I thought I was I was a bit of a nutter.(I believe Rob met him) I will always read certain posts...even US posters Bob,Vicky and Brandon....In fact I'm a tart and like you all
  9. I'm sitting here with a warm glow. I'm working on my varieties (thanks Colin) I can enjoy my hobby without Robs big busters, I did send the Robster a 1963 1/2d.....only 49 left.I never charged the bugger.
  10. Brandon You must be spending all your pension
  11. Trouble is Heritage are too expensive 99.99% of the time.
  12. There is a clear difference between the polished and "normal" finish. It is a mule as there was an unintentional mix up of dies. Rather than prolong an argument.I'm putting my head in the sand and this is the last I shall comment on the subject.
  13. Nice Brandon I like the idea of a Civil War token. How do you record or store your tokens?
  14. I agree Gary. Unintentional die pairing.
  15. Excellent strike.
  16. I would chance my luck for a bit more.LC have only had 1 a year since 2007, Let the market decide.
  17. Thanks Chris Top quality and rare coins have been flying. The last couple of DNW auctions had their estimates smashed.and yet Baldwins didn't sell a lot of lesser stuff. I often do google searches on particular coins and you will be shocked how the high end stuff has increased.
  18. Looks French (Lion of St Peter reverse) ?
  19. Peck Look what they have been going for at London coins. The market has rocketed since 2007/8
  20. The Newark was used for shove-ninepence by Charlie himself
  21. I w0uld try ebay initially. Maybe £4.2k- BIN £4.5k and see if you get a bite. Pity about the obverse scratches. As you know it is a R3. At the end of the day it is your decision..
  22. I never know with your sense of humour Peter. £3.6k for the William I penny... Nice score Geordie was the blue tack extra. I must have 10 Bury mint ED 1,2 & 3 and I'm still not happy You are right quality costs Over £4k for the William I cannot justify (I have a Lotus Elan on my shopping list to put in the garage with my MG)
  23. Damian That is a fantastic coin. £3.6 + juice for an Ed1 London WOW

    Swap

Nice gun. I had a Webley Vulcan with a Tasico scope.

    Photography

In the past we often used to go for long walks on a Sunday armed with my SLR. I would shoot 36 photographs and post them to bonus photo or the like...it was quite cheap and exiting awaiting the developed pictures.
