A really nice MS64 RED 1913 F176 from Spink on Wednesday ,not attributed. Interesting that the coin has sold now at least twice by two major auction houses and owned by different vendors ,however nobody has looked to see what type it is.

No - different coin. That was an ornamental trident (P1513) penny (lot 666) but this is a plain trident P1514 coin.

I do concur FWIW. Honestly, I have some OMS (off metal strikes) of 20th C. coins that are just that - significant and interesting to me but not deserving of being enumerated amongst the basic types.1 point

Just specify the pixel count you want after you've cropped. Then you can get the pictures the same size, though the slight difference above isn't an issue for me!1 point

Impressive research! My conclusion would be that you could generate more interest if you were able to separate true varieties from Mint sloppiness (cuds, graininess, wearing dies). I feel collectors would more interested in the former than the latter (which as you've recgnised yourself, there are very few disciples of),1 point
