Do we care? CGS is no more, so their league table is obsolete along with their company

Lol. But regardless of whether I care, we still don't know and can't check to answer the question. I remember checking through some of the highest graded coins one and there were loads all graded at whatever the highest one I could find was. I can't remember what the grade was, but there was no single coin with the highest grade as far as I could see.

No coin would ever be graded more than 99

Most people would  admire a 100+ years old circulating coin graded MS68 (or CGS equivalent) as an object of high rarity. I certainly can't see any interest for a modern proof coin wrapped in plastic moments after birth and later graded as MS70 or CGS123...
