  1. Unfortunately Paul your coins coincided with the changes....... your coins are updated through the process but you need to be able to log on. This i agree does not seem fair and possibly one of the reasons for them using agents in the future. Coin in progress tells you ,photographed ,grading 1,grading 2,finalising grade, encapsulated and then a mail to say being posted.
  2. I have not got a clue ,hopefully though more people will use NGC or PCGS in the future. So LCGS can get mine done quicker
  3. Keep smiling Brian its all good fun
  4. So the rif raf can join in...........The peasant collector
  5. Jesus wept they can do one
  6. Quite a lot of information has been added to the front page of there site........for anyone who is interested /bothered
  7. The last pictures i had done was about December but i have traded/sold and added some since then. When the guy came it took him ages to set everything up ,so was waiting untill there were another hundred or so.
  8. Unfortunately for me (yes i am daft) all of my grand daughters collection was stored on there site as dont have the coins to hand. Lesson learned as over the last week been able to record all the details seperately should i need the information in the future.
  9. A few on the forum are in deep............Your making it sound like something terrible has happened I have just woke uip and had a coffee and just going to look through some coins , too see if there are any to send to them
  10. In the Tony Barter book there are pictures descriptions of fifty three different Pennies .
  11. Yes John i have been looking also. I assumed the brass insert must all be inverted as too much of a coincidence that Brians was the same. I will have to start looking for one that isnt
  12. I have just received one in the post Brian that is the same
  13. Yes paid last friday ?.
  14. 1968....................
  15. A song comes to mind SOME GUYS HAVE ALL THE LUCK That was a good buy Ian to go with all the others you have had
  16. Just been looking at the Baldwins new list. Although there is quite a lot in it........ some of the prices seem a little high taking into consideration the condition IMO. The 1844 Farthing does not look the best .........infact its horrible for £495. Sorry i cant put the link up but the list is online and worth a look through. Its good they have put the provenance on quite a lot of the half pennies. Pete.
  17. Thank for the replies and for the page Peter
  18. I have been looking for a list ,however as so many people collect different denominations it seemed an easy place to start on here. I dont want to look at hundreds and only milled from about 1840. If anybody can give a couple only of key dates from any denomination apart from pennies i would be gratefull. Pete.
  19. Well that leaves me out i cant really see it on a big picture ,so would have no chance looking at a coin
  20. I dont have any to look through but if anyone has a spare one please PM me. Pete.
  21. I am sure that you are right Dave. Lovely telephone manner
  22. Not worth bothering about supermack its not a big deal and things happen. I sold about thirty to a dealer last year and was happy with what he paid me. The first thing he did was break them all out, they still have a value of what you paid for them (hopefully)it does not matter what the coin is in . Just got to move on and remember they are only coins of which you still have As far as being bullied of which is a strong word i can understand and dissapointed myself but definately not upset Keep smiling. Pete.
  23. I forgot the carl frampton fight was on so just got up to watch it , more interesting than a few coins
