  1. Ian....... I have confused myself here yet again The Italic 5 is that known as the Large one then and the curl small , i am aware of the differences but just want to confirm please ? Also that the 1853 PT is about one in fortyish that is similar to Larrys findings ? Pete.
  2. Well one out of forty eight shows how much scarcer they are Plenty varieties on the Coppers to look for. Pete.
  3. Yes Larry its a common year and not hard to find one of each ,you will notice the small one described as italic and the larger one having a curl at the top. The scarcest is the PT ....Did you find anymore
  4. Today is the DAY. Come on England when we win today we are in the final ,we will beat Croatia / Russia. 2-0 today
  5. Looking in coin news Mike the show is on two floors but there are lifts plus a bar which i would of thought had seating
  6. Although i have never been Mike ,i speak to a couple of dealers who will be there, some take cards and i know one will always take a deposit if he doesnt know you. Cash will always be better i would of thought especially for a discount I hope you find something and have a good day
  7. Thank you. There is also a 1853 with the large 5 which is a DOT between the I & A in GRATIA ,you may not be bothered but a variety that you also may have in such a large group.
  8. Why you have such a large group Larry can i ask you out of the eighty you have how many are PT please ? Sorry if its not something you know off the top of your head but the PT is much scarcer and would guess at three out of eighty
  9. 100% Spot on Peck and could not agree more.
  10. Yes Larry dont be bullied Can i ask though what does "lean far to the right of centre " mean please ?.
  11. Yes Ian ....I have just had a look at the two small date ones i have and the OBV / REV is exactly the same.
  12. Jon.............Can you please have a look at the reverse and tell me if its a large rose ,i assume the coin is W.W. ? Pete.
  13. Yes Peck ,more likely to be a five than a nine
  14. Yes a seven i think. Often described as an underlying figure and sometimes a nine. The 1858/7 has three varieties with clear downstrokes ,one to the left ,middle and right all on W.W. pennies. So obviously entered a few times and the back (right outer) is more like a seven being straight and the tiny angle top right. The inner part of the bottom loop may just be the original eight that had broken. More importantly the Large rose are quite scarce Ian
  15. The seller is a Forum member and knows his coins so although i dont know anything about them would feel confident buying from him
  16. COME ON ENGLAND. Everyone of them played and gave 100% Ashley young was drawing two players off and was class.Big hat off to them all,the young squad that all the neg heads didnt give a chance have done as much as they could of tonight. We will beat Sweeden.............
  17. Anyone who is still in deserves to be ,we are regardless of the team that we have or past form and results. We have only lost one game in over twelve months and Southgate is not spoilt for choice with who he can pick a squad from out of the premier league ,all the others are playing for other countries.People are having ago at them even before they have been knocked out .We win a couple and people dont think its good enough ,we lose one with a weakened team and the result did not matter its not good enough,we dont win and its not good enough. Some people wont be happy even if we win on Tuesday........Well to those people Bollocks . Either way COME ON ENGLAND.................
  18. Was just going to post that its back again....Windows shut
  19. We had it through the night and this morning but been to hospital and now i am back all cleared up Terrible for animals / farms and hopefully not reached or damaged any property.
  20. Yes i am sure its not simple or would be out. They use planes that pick up already filled huge tubs these are then dumped around the edges and have a number of planes being used to allow for them to constantly try and keep on top of it.They also have a chemical or something that is red that they also spray over everything ,the chemical is also an indicator as to were the plane has dropped the water for the next plane that comes a couple of minutes after. Sure they will soon have it under control as i have all the windows closed here
  21. I bet the Spanish (other countries ) who are geared up for it wonder what we are doing as there is a resevoir on the video next to it and surely it should be used. We send a tractor out
