  1. I don't really rate CGS pictures all that much and all of the slabbed coins I've bought I've broken out and taken my own photos, so I'm not too worried about losing their set of pictures. It was more a case of viewing other's coins they have to sell.
  2. When I sign in I just get taken to the londoncoins landing page, I can't see any of this? Such a mess, is this, they've really pissed off a few people during this process. Seems that the pictures can still be viewed the way I mentioned before though, I'll just be doing that for now.
  3. If it helps anyone, you can see the pictures for your coins if you have the UIN; Using Paul's example - http://www.coingradingservices.co.uk/img.php?u=39472&f=r& - if you change the 39472 for your UIN you can see the reverse. If you then change the 'f' at the end (&f=r&) to a b, it will show the obverse. Example obverse - http://www.coingradingservices.co.uk/img.php?u=37060&b=r& Example reverse - http://www.coingradingservices.co.uk/img.php?u=37060&f=r&
  4. Yes, please don't clean them
  5. Hi welcome to the forum. What do you mean by downturn? Also I wouldn't get too excited, there a plethora of error coins out there with little defects like this and they don't sell for a lot.
  6. Some interesting weather here at the moment too.. 31 degrees but with crazy thunder and lightning.
  7. Lovely jubbly, I must say
  8. also both upwards serifs of N in ONE point between teeth
  9. Ok, that clears it up then! Thank you for checking And thanks for the kind comments, it really looks 100 times better than the seller photos, I didn't realise how large and weighty the halfpenny would be! Fits nicely to the side of the penny collection
  10. Thanks Brandon, any help is appreciated. The edge lettering reads "Payable in Anglesey London or Liverpool - * -"
  11. I'm 99% sure it's 296 because of the space between E and N in HALFPENNY and it's 26 acorns, but D&H only lists 298 with edge lettering. Any ideas @brg5658?
  12. My Gouby X isn't on there I'm sure I sent some pics, but if I haven't then my fault haha
  13. Is Jerru your Japenese moniker?
  14. Unfortunately not, but is a nice example of die fill.
  15. Sorry REDD, I just tried to add it for you but it also gives me the 403. @Chris Perkins not sure I can help with this one.
  16. Welcome Leanne. Do you have a picture?
  17. Agreeing with Jerry, the Gouby X has had a design change whereas hand punched date digits can and will be positioned slightly differently when new dies are being hubbed. I also have a tilted 4, but it's still slightly different to the example in Steve's collection.
  18. Yeah it's from Tony C's site (coins-of-the-uk). Someone bought it already anyway
  19. Many happy returns Chingford
  20. Worth a punt, but not from this punter
  21. So now it won't let me look at the collections through the league table, anyone know what's up with that?
