  10. the person gradining it was a drung as the guy who carved the 7 into the dye
  11. do love a good roman, i got a few recently myself
  12. looks to be a tin farthing. the plug in the middle gives it away
  13. whats the differance then? cos one is so worn, i would never be able to tell any
  14. if he started on tiny date spreads we would have far to many 1860-63 bun varieties
  15. they are listed in a book we all know of though small rose is listed as more valuable for both years the differance is minute though. from i gather is the large rose nearly touches the shields i believe this is a small shield, the gap is larger but not by much http://www.coins-of-the-uk.co.uk/pics/ones2.html differance is in here
  16. no idea tbh, not many people know about the differant rose sizes
  17. I wish people would stop knowing they had those 1903 opens.. i want one cheap >.> i look at 1908 and 1909 as well. but really, we have the 1870 wide and narrow which is what? 1 tooth? and we got the the OH viccies that dont count, the few differant 1902's (isn't there 2 versions of LT )
  18. its stripey? what? defo cleaned, copepr doesnt tone like that, i have seen brass tone in rainbows with silver, and natuaral toning is pleasent this is not natural. although a cleaned copper coin can tone nicely... this hasn't
  19. you can see the higher 4 is closer to the top of the exergue
  20. makes me want to make some fakes and put under the portrait, sucker and list it in a similar way
  21. they sign for man city item gone btw
  22. 1750-1850? but so much good stuff before and after that. especially the early 20th century stuff and the many 17th century jetons I think I have one of those overdate centimes.
  23. depends doesn't it? i know french coins had both mint and privy marks and i tohugh some hammered pieces has 2 marks as well.
  24. you can't have Lady jane Grey, and its just the specific monarchs, if Matilda is possible it would be fun. would love a philip and mary double portrait but, those are way out of my league, even a very worn example is over £20. and that defies the point of having it >.> I think both my mary and Philip and pary are groats. well, Philip and mary is sort of 60% of a groat but they are a pain to find. i think the shilling is on my wants list, but they go for far too much. especially as some are dated. my main focus, as it should be is the war of the roses currently.
