Cheers Bud What goes round comes round. I have sent coins and books to junior members.OK they have been off the forum for a while but I'm sure they will be back. I sent 50+ Vickie coins to the primary school 15 years ago and a few are still there.My wife was working there until last year and some of the blighters were after more.They couldn't believe the size of 1d's and 240 to £.

Well 4 to be exact. The last NEF went for £9 not described as small date obviously. I must of picked up 20 in the last 2 years.Not so rare

I have been a member here for 10 years and managed to not upset anyone (as in life). PM and explain what I have done wrong. Your Happy Xmas is most generous. I have 5 of those trays ,a mahogany cabinet,2 aluminium cases with 6 trays in each,4 large albums,4 Numis small albums,3 x coin boxes for 2x2 flips,2x separate trays,a banknote album,a cheque album and 2 separate trays with my daughters coins (they don't take so much interest now) I'm not at all a coin greedy.

They appear very crude and nothing like the Wellington tokens. Obviously manufactured after Trafalger ......England expects etc.

I have every farthing from 1672 to 1956 (excluding tin) my eye appeal is every thing to me (I do have tin YUK) It is what you like.My trays are at home and added to and drooled over.I love what I have got. Mr Colin Goode has kept me on standby.....I must have 20 or more small date 58 farthings and R/E 1856. Concentrate on your subject enjoy the hobby. Never an investment but keeps me happy. Happy collecting. Probably worth a few Bob. I also collect type from Celtic onwards My French & Indian are my main focus now although my Yank collection is getting pleasing....plus my bank note/checque collection is good...Just lost out on a Beale White fiver.

New oven ordered delivery 16th Dec. Electrician sorted and good old Mum is helping with the cost. It will be the resting place of a 16lb capon on the 25th. Both of my daughters are working until about 5pm so it will be a seafood feast until they arrive home. Takeaway Pizza last night and micro chips with bacon//beans/egg tonight.. We do have a bread maker and the eldest is a sous chef who does a leek and spud soup to die for. My daughters arrived home with a bloody great Xmas tree...it is feeling Xmas bah humbug. The plan is to sell the main home and keep the bungalow on rent and buy in North North Norfolk. Boat / Shrimping and a freelancing bit looks good.The only trouble is my Mum....sister is oop North. My mothers sisters went to Aussie or US leaving us stuck in Suffolk. I admire Declan May be a Double deckecker for all of us in a nice Dorset location to concentrate on coins/publications. Don't forget you are dead for a long time..

Paulus I agree fully Thats where I have problems with 17C copper.

Ebay has been a happy hunting ground for Indian coins.I just got 8 AU/UNC coppers for less than £6 delivered. The rupees have generally been less than £10 and similar to gothic florins IMO.

I didn't marry her for cooking skills.

I've picked up some rupees and understand there are many varieties. I also like the coppers but confess to being no expert.

The temperature switch goes round and nothing happens. It is about 10 years old and gets a lot of use. Plus modern ovens are more efficient and easier to keep clean.
