I thought it sensible, as many experienced members on the forum have seen huge numbers of repairs over the years, to have a separate "help with repairs topic." It seems to be a niche interest, possibly because there are so many different examples. But on the plus side, they are affordable and gives a learning opportunity for amateurs like me.
I thought I'd kick off with what I think is a circulated 1860 D+d penny ? where I think we have a T next to T in Britt ? followed by a T over something maybe an I ?
(On a more worn example the T next to T would look like a wide slightly off centre downstroke)
