  2. Strangely I got this F68 just last week. Spink does not rate it that highly in terms of scarcity, so I am glad to hear it is rarer than that.

  3. 1874 Penny Freeman 67 6+H Interesting coin this one . It seems to me that the F67 is much harder to find than the R12 rating given by Freeman , especially so in high grade . I could only find five examples ever sold on London Coins , and this seems to be the same with the F68 6+H Heaton rated R13 . This example interestingly also has an over stamped 7 in the date which I have not managed to find on any other example with this die combination. ??

  4. Yes, just a circumferential die crack. Victorian bronze was very prone to it, and around the legend letters especially so as these were points of weakness. Nothing numismatically significant here, I'm afraid.
