  1. This made me smile, ukcoins.co.uk doesn't know if he can post a link to his website

  2. Exactly what I said Bob, there is 4 MS65 RB and 1 MS65 RD, he's saying his RD is superior, so I asked him since when did people start buying letter deaignated slabs in stead of the number, so I was asked to check the PCGS website for superiority letters and RD means 95% min red and RB 5-95% red, so in theory all 5 MS grades can be the same as there is no percentage of colour rating on the slabs.

  4. I agree with Stuntman, the grade seems ok, don't know the price, eye appeal is in the eye of the beholder. You get flecking in early milled silver of this period (due to metal composition) but not normally just in one place. Check with the dealer/seller that you are buying 'on approval', i.e. you need to see it in hand and will return for full no quibble refund if you are not happy, and that they are happy with that. For me, I just want a decent LIMA George II halfcrown, not both a 1745 (with the U instead of V in GEORGIUS, which I'm guessing was in error), and a 1746, just the one - this is my best so far - a few years ago these could be bought in a high grade for a fraction of what they go for now, wish I collected seriously 10-30 years ago! But there we are, still fantastic examples are available of many coins at good prices if you do your research and show patience

  5. Behave and get your head down. You wanted to sell them and offers were made ,you did not reply. Surely if you ask a question and someone takes the time to reply it would of been manners to aknowledge them weather you liked the answer or not . The forum will never be the same without you

  6. If you can tell me where anyone was discourteous I'm all ears, otherwise you came here for free advice and then didn't bother telling any of us who showed interest that you'd listed them, so yes, manners cost nothing. If you cannot take criticism, Paul, I suggest not logging on to any forum at all. Rest assured, you won't need to block my ID.

  7. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Paul O don't take It personally, you were looking to sell, offers were made you did not want to take them up and you decided to sell elsewhere. Hope you sold them but that does not stop us making a comment or two. Grow up and stop acting liking a child. It's just a coin.
