absence of uniformity Posted yesterday at 04:57 PM Posted yesterday at 04:57 PM (edited) The reason I'm careful what I share is because I found this coin below 1862 VIGTORIA and purchased the coin. I shared the images of the coin using the seller's images and strangely a few hours after purchasing the seller refunded me my £6 and said they cant find the coin.... Is it possible somebody done a reverse image search, contacted the seller and offered a few hundred quid I dont know. Or maybe its a true story. If you see this coin anywhere on the internet for sale please let me know. The damage/pitting under the chin is quite unique plus the rim damage. I was was quite disheartened as I searched high and low for that coin. Strangely after obviously contacting the seller a fair few times to see if the coin reappeared they didnt respond apart from once asking why is the coin so valuable?????? Il leave that with you. jelida Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I too would doubt that it is a VIGTORIA, speaking as someone who already owns one. The ‘G’ component is not large enough or the right shape, though I agree the blurred photo is vaguely similar at a glance. Don’t loose sleep over it. And don’t advertise or share images until a coin is in your hand! Jerry Quote
Coys55 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Here's a definite Vigtoria. I don't think your G looks the same, even allowing for the condition. Compare it to the two Gs in D.G. and REG on "your" coin and I think it's pretty clear. Personally I think the seller saved you £6. Edited 8 hours ago by Coys55 Quote

terrysoldpennies Posted 50 minutes ago Posted 50 minutes ago Sorry about that Richard but it does look like No 11 . And I've also made a slip up above as its a 4+D 🙃 Quote
