Like yours, nominally a/UNC with reasonable lustre. But just look how blurry and tired the detail is, compared to yours, which is much sharper. Like comparing standard with high definition using a television analogy. 1 Quote

Sword Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Sorry, didn't meant to post it in the penny tread ... Quote

Paulus Posted April 3, 2018 Author Posted April 3, 2018 Something's gone wrong (for me) in the Copper Tokens thread, so I will post this newbie here, seeing as it's a penny ... 1796 Birmingham copper penny token by Thomas Wyon 5 Quote
secret santa Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Picked up a very nice F28 a few days ago - auction estimate a very silly £80 - needless to say other people bid me much higher ! 4 Quote
PWA 1967 Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 (edited) Hat off thats a really good one Richard I assume with it just having an estimate of £80 they had just listed it as a 1861 ? Edited April 4, 2018 by PWA 1967 Quote

Rob Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 It's all they need to do. There are sufficient nerds around to ensure that is unlikely to slip under the radar. 1 Quote
