jon Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 (edited) One is better than none I am still waiting to hear. Edited May 25, 2016 by jon Spelling Quote
Nordle11 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Haha true. Although I haven't received a confirmation yet but on the site the one I was bidding on has been changed to 'sold for' instead of 'current bid'. Check the ones you've bid on maybe they've changed too. Quote
jon Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Just checking now but not changed to sold for yet. I was sole bidder one one lot so unless someone else bid last night in theory I should win that one Quote
jacinbox Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 What did you both win? I am waiting to hear on my lots as they have conflicting bids Quote
Nordle11 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Just the 1919 London. I wanted either Liz errors but the prices are too much IMHO. Maybe the OMS is fairish but I'm not willing to put that much on an error. Quote
IanB Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Not a blooming clue as of yet, still waiting to hear. Quote
jon Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 One of mine has just changed to sold for so I got at least one Quote

1949threepence Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I don't quite get it. I bid on three. One is showing as sold and shows my last bid as the high one. The other two still have my bids as the high ones, but show as latest bids. So I don't know what's going on. Quote

If the bid has been made over the internet neil must inform them the bid was not enough and ask should they wish to bid again. Obviously over the phone is easier. The one showing as sold the bidder will have told Neil they dont wish to go any higher. Think thats how it works Mike 1 Quote
Nordle11 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I suppose he's waiting for replies from the other bidders on the two not changed to sold before he marks it as sold. 1 Quote

scott Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 no idea, got no updates or notifications to bid on lots today. Quote
Nonmortuus Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 The three I bid on are marked as sold at the price I dropped on them but no email confirmation a yet. Quote
1949threepence Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I know I've now got two out of the three I bid for - I've got Lot No 50, the 1860 Freeman 14 LCW under foot, and Lot No 86, the Freeman 74 "specimen". Still waiting to hear for certain about the other one, the1861 Freeman 22. 1 Quote
IanB Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Lot 86 is a cracker, I love the tone, it really picks up the features of her face. 1 Quote
bhx7 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Well I won one of the lots I bid on. I left the other 2 as I wanted to concentrate on the one I really wanted. So lot 179 the 1932 penny is mine. Looking forward to getting it. Nice to be able to say I have one coin from this outstanding collection. Quote
IanB Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Hope they don't close up at 5 0'clock and leave the rest of us hanging until tomorrow. Quote
