  1. I use: Report item> Report category> Prohibited and restricted items Reason for report> Stamps, currency and coins Detailed reason> Replica coins, replica paper money, and replica stamps
  2. Reported.
  3. I think it may have ran until the allotted end time Stu (20:16 last night). I received one of those ebay last call reminders two hours before but decided not to bid after all . If it is listed for a third time we all could continue to report it.
  4. And me.
  5. …but not in a good way... https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/sep/12/chesterfield-princess-diana-floral-tribute-ridiculed-an-insult "Roger Fearn wrote: “Our shops our closing, our Market stalls are empty, we have homeless people in our bus station, our football team is crap and now this.” Other comments were less kind."
  6. That should read 'uncharted', not 'unchartered', but I'm sure you knew that…...
  7. His previous listings made me laugh, this one just baffles. We've entered unchartered territory here….. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/harfpenny-Charles-11-with-the-head-of-Victoria-bun-head-one-side-of-the-coin-/272842959385?hash=item3f86b52a19:g:KS0AAOSwE9lZtpgz
  8. Craigy, it gets even better…... https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/123yussuff/m.html?item=112530210264&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  9. Where did you buy it?
  10. New additions.….. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/jd012349-1/m.html?item=272829068481&hash=item3f85e134c1%3Ag%3A4J8AAOSwt7hZdkAD&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  11. Now there's an understatement if ever I read one. 'Not necessarily handsome'? Bulldog sucking a lemon would be my description. Though for all his shortcomings a half decent painter.
  12. Good for you. Family first every time. Obviously, I'm a bit older. Before we moved to Cambridge for my wife's Phd Liverpool of the late 1970s/early 1980s was a fun time for me. Played in bands. Made some records. Here's me and Pete Burns LOL (I'm on the left, playing the Telecaster).
  13. I'm Toxteth, then Allerton, then Toxteth again ( the late 1970s crappy bedsit years). Dovecote? I have a couple of friends who are originally from the Pilch Lane area. Also, back in the mid '70s, I had a girlfriend who lived in Huyton. We would often spend our Saturday nights at the Hillside pub then at the Hoe Down club, which I think was in the basement? This was all pre punk of course, after that it was the city centre and Eric's, The Grapes, The Armadillo etc.
  14. Indeed. How's life treating you up in Cumbria? I know, like me, you're originally from Liverpool, but I don't know which area. Amazing at it seems (to me at least) while we were there today, for the first time in our lives, my wife and I visited Crosby. Nice beach and I was very taken with the Gormleys which are quite an impressive statement in the landscape. I had no idea there were so many of the buggers. 100!
  15. Much the same as you Stuart, 'don't be ridiculous' was my first thought on seeing those photos.
  16. Yet another Stu. In all these listings the description may state 'engravings clearly marked' (cheeky), but still the intention is to snare a foolish buyer. All three reported. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/King-Charles-I-hammered-silver-threepence-coin/172851744865?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D45993%26meid%3D2cc21a98c78645cbadb776f891792b98%26pid%3D100623%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D172852041995&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-1
  17. Some of those coppers, bronzes, wreath crowns, and golds would surely fool a novice. And having had a quick look at the feedback I see people are snapping them up.
  18. Selling honestly described is all well and good, but how soon before unscrupulous buyers re-list these? This is the first time I've seen 1799/1825/1826 replica coppers. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/bitsandbobs.etc/m.html?item=282626613088&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  19. Spoilt for choice, just can't decide which to buy……. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/jd012349-1/m.html?item=272826369065&hash=item3f85b80429%3Ag%3AdAQAAOSwr6xZporU&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  20. Mm, yes, that wording is a bit cheeky, isn't it. Still, if someone actually thought they were going to get all those pre 1947 tanners for £20 then more fool them.
  21. If genuine the 1921 Australian florin is quite valuable. The George III is a contemporary counterfeit. The George IV has a silver bullion value only.
  22. And I have two. One fine or a little better, one about very fine.
  23. It is comforting to know I'm not the only one who finds this table unclear. To me it reads 338,160 farthings struck dated 1679, and I had always understood it was the least common of the '72-'79 series.
  24. So there are two of us at least then Peter…..
