  1. Haha... 261877567523 Not only is the price silly, but the description says "..Stunning!" AND the condition is down as, "It looks like beautiful oak furniture".. OK..
  2. Boooooo, stop dredging up old threads, you already started one and if you're just trying to promote something you're in the wrong place. Everyone here clearly already knows their stuff about coins..
  3. Saw this too, nothing top, top grade, but a lot of nicely toned bun pennies... and a ton of sovereigns!
  4. Exactamundo, probably why he only has the obv. image. The fact the reverse image search only brought up hits related to the guide (among ebay crawling websites) makes me think he didn't know it was actually being offered on eBay.. Edit: and thanks for the link Paulus you should start getting paid per link haha
  5. Funnily enough the picture of the coin is also in the buying guide under "How To Evaluate Your Richard III Coins". Sorry but I can't paste links for some reason..
  6. It probably depends on who's selling it, I bet there's a few dealers everyone knows that would be partial towards excluding that sort of information...
  7. The re-holing is just amazing on these. You can't even tell when the picture is blown up either, you'd never have a clue with the coin just in hand..
  8. Wow, some of those before and after pictures on his website are insane..
  9. Only 4 years later as well XD While this was up, I just got this today.. Good strike for the year.. Some seriously eclectic toning going on though, and this was just an iPhone picture!
  10. I saw a quote recently in which, when a collector was asked what grade he perceived a coin to be he said, "Am I buying or selling?". Hits the nail on the head really
  11. Yeah, funny that LC grade more conservatively when they're not selling the coin.. Would be interesting to see on a batch of different types and dates
  12. Just thinking to myself, has anyone ever cracked open a slabbed coin and sent it back to see if there's any discrepancy between the first grade and the second?
  13. Lot 2471 has the wrong picture on. Listed as 1886 penny Freeman 186, but has a nice picture of a 1912h up.
  14. Yeah I can no longer look at the catalogue, I wondered what happened..
  15. Finally, cheers Jac. Penny time...
  16. That's certainly a spanker, I'll give 'em that..
  17. I miss the Midland In fact, I miss any coin fair that sells something from England..
  18. One of the better coin dealers on eBay that's for sure..
  19. Mine seems to work fine, although will sometimes hide the threads I haven't looked at if I don't look at them after a certain amount of time, probably a day or 2..
  20. Yeah for sure, I was expecting to pay something just over the 100 mark for a good example. I waited a year for that ´26 so hopefully something comes up soon!
  21. Nice, how much and when? @Rob -
  22. Well there you have it, it certainly would have to look like it just came out of the collar for me to fork over 185 though.. And thanks for the kind words on the '26, it really is top notch and even nicer in hand. I am going easiest to hardest in a way, just working my way backwards from 1967
