  1. I paid for the one off lifetime membership on Adguard, best thing I have bought, solved all my lag time issues where the ads try to load before the program. I also use ADWCleaner to wipe interfering Ad cookies when they do get in and CCleaner to remove some of the Windows 10 features you don't want but cant disable yourself and eat up the disk and memory.
  2. I would approach CGB and Paris museum, information relating to similar items above is from both these sources, I would therefore assume they would be more familiar with what it actually is or be able to give you leads for further research.
  3. You don't know, CGS slabs may end up like the USA TPG black slabs and command a premium
  4. I have seen it reported that there were circa 600 New Pence 2 pence in the sets, There have been sterling silver year sets that have been issued by the RM, I had a 1996 set where all the coins were 0.925, could be some of these are being broken and sold individually for large profits
  5. Remember to take the bones out first
  6. It is possible that the 1 was inverted then corrected, a few coins struck before a final fill, but then you would expect to see examples with the impression of the filled part on some well struck CHP1826 as you do with other over dates and legend repairs. With there being a Farthing recorded I thought there might be a Penny out there making a set. I have seen four of these Halfpennies in hand and read a Error Halfpenny/Farthing webpage identifying it as a variety some time ago, I emailed the Author Joe, but received no reply, He had four listed. but I couldn't eliminate any of these as duplicates from my own, London Coins have sold two and Zookeeper has had two. Therefore between 4-12 currently known but I am sure the numbers will rise once collections are checked through
  7. Few and far between, I found it in 2011, looked for a Penny thinking it could have been a Copper set originally, but have never found one Images not working, think my new blocker is in overdrive
  8. Which I corrected, if you had read on. UK Auction houses entertain several TPGs, LCA list PCGS and NGC coins as well as their own within their Auctions. It is the Buyers discretion as to which TPG service they favour or have more confidence in, if any at all, the main reasoning behind using a UK based grader is the accuracy in identifying the coin and any variety, A search through posts within this forum will provide you with some facts about misattribution of variety and in some cases denomination that have happened with USA TPG when assessing UK Coinage Maybe you could provide us with some Cert numbers from LCGS coins that you have crossed graded to PCGS and NGC to give us a fuller picture of your initial comments, Members could then look at both attributions and make an informed judgement
  9. I stand corrected, It is NGC not PCGS as I have quoted earlier
  10. I think you will find Heritage have a very close relationship with PCGS
  11. I wouldn't worry Bob, Adyen take PayPal according to their Website

  13. Pyx Trials - Checking precious metal coinage for weight etc... usually 50 around examples of each coin minted are checked by a select panel for conformity to size, weight, purity
  14. You might be able to move them or others see them listed here.

Still cant quote or reply to some of the topics and forums, silly that it is only a few parts that are not working rather than the whole

  15. Agreed looks like a normal CHP1853. I think without exception the Obv die used for the Proofs, O in VICTORIA is doubled and gives the impression of two vertical lines on the side of O, with an open gap at the bottom, and the 8 in the date is doubled to the left giving the impression of 'hooks' on the left side of both top and bottom loops, the image is not as clear as I would like, shows the features described
  16. Nice example of a Bramah 2a - Light curved marking to the left of the foot of the 4

I reported to the RM that these were on Alibaba and that one UK account bought 2 lots of 2000 and 1000 just after issue, never heard back from RM. They may still be on Alibaba and they looked very good for copies
