H7? Well you're going to have to get a side and a front profile coin for this reign, as to choose between the old and new style of coinage would just be too difficult!

I think the 1920 penny, the E1 sixpence, and the G3 2D could've performed better, I think another £75 across these 3 would've been good! The W&M is a fabulous coin, it surprised me not to have done better!ANOTHER 100 to come, let's hope it balances out across that sort of number...the average of the total figure will be an interesting one!

I think your instincts re socket is good! Whilst I've not fiddled inside a laptop too much, I do remember that there is some kind of process for 'demagnetising' or de-staticing, whatever it's called, the computer before opening it up, to avoid charges, I think, transferring to some component or other! It's straight forward, and totally understandable, I just can't remember what is was, just worth a quick google about cracking the case, if you're not familiar with it????????

Reminds me of one time I was checking on what my son was looking at on the computer. Turns out he was looking at youtube.com - he must have had a difficult time finding what he wanted to look at because he couldn't spell "breast" right and spelt it as "brest". I wasn't mad because of what he wanted to look at but he has never lived down not being able to spell a part of the feminine anatomy correctly. Now he is getting ready for college and I still bring up that incident from 7-8 years ago. That's great! I was too busy trying to spell baksyde myself! I used to do that! We should find a way of leaving clues in feedback, so that we can all visit and get an idea of past satisfaction from respected members...a bit like leaving a notch on the gate post, or a sign to the next camp!

And, oddly, my past auctions that originally completed as 'private' (sorry to those who disapprove), now display in my feedback with full details of coins, bids, etc.????Just to clarify, I adopted a private profile, not to be deceptive, but more to protect my own exploitation!!! I've got a couple of 'creative' accounts (driftwood, art, jewellery, etc.), which have endlessly been undermined by copying! Now, I can't complain about this, because whenever I see a good idea, I straight away dive into the feedback to see just how good an idea it really is and, then, of course, I replicate it! I now go private to prevent such discredible behaviour distastefully bouncing back against my own darn decent self...guess it just stuck and became standard practice!
