  1. And those awful feckin slabs and no offence was taken here either, i was merely stating my buying experience from Ingrams. Its was like the Brits at the Eurovision Song contest, NIL POIT My money is on the 4 Russian grannys, they'll Walk it, cos Vlad the impailer says so
  2. Lol, an old workmate of mine had that done...........
  3. Out of the 1st 2, the one Paulus pointed out to you looks to be the one thats polished/cleaned, very shiny indeed
  4. At the end of the day, its your money and your own choice, if you like the coin then go with it, everyone here has their own opinions of grade, and if you ask 10 people about the Same coin you're going to get differences everytime. If you like it and it has eye appeal to you then buy it.
  5. I mentioned CC, that i sent a coin back to him as i did'nt agree with the grade, he freely accepted the return and got my money back as did Chris Perkins i think mentioned the same.
  6. Ski, my post was'nt slagging off Ingram, it was my opinion as i've bought from him, so my opinion counts in that respect. If you buy from him then your opinion would count to. 1949 has also bought from him and has the same opinion as me, so, so far that 2 out of 2 misses regarding his grading. If you bought the same coins from ebay i'm sure you'd send them back if they were'nt to your standards, nothing to do with slagging, merely stating fact... Oh and we seem to have missed another dealer from the site. John Stephenson, no one tried his site? Dave
  7. Are you talking about Rendel Ingram ski? His grading is terrible in my opinion, i bought 2 coins from him but won't be back after what he sent. 1st coin in the post i can't see cleaning being evident 3rd coin has a scratch on the OBV, but as most would say, its your money and your choice.
  8. Well unfortunately you have been well and truly screwed. Next time, make sure you state that international Post costs extra and Must be insured with tracked postage, there's a Lot of this going on and so i send everything insured with Express delivery, if they don't like it they don't need to buy, simples.....
  9. Postage from the Vaterland is around 5 working days. 10/14 days would mean to me that it was'nt posted until 2/3 days after payment at least
  10. If you sold the item through the UK site then why should you have to respond in German, it should be the Germans who would have to respond in English surely? Another thing is, 3 days to Germany from the UK for delivery is quite non existant, i should know, i live here and buy from there
  11. Thanks Mr X
  12. Ok, i've reduced it from half the previous size, maybe it helps?
  13. So, is this the same coin as the original post. I have it down as S1154, but i struggle with the legends on these hammered coins.
  14. Love to see them police that, 3 million UK websites, that will keep em busy Hopefully if we all ignore it. It will go away Seriously though can the EU not find better things to spend their time on! Banannas that are to bent springs to mind
  15. Liking it to be honest, but take the rose off the coin so er can See the coin in its entirity.
  16. e***n should be getting an email in a couple of day saying how the purchaser has been messing about and how would you like it for your top bid. I'll email John as i know the underbidder
  17. Bugger Off you hahahahaha. Is it a Gold Star Debbie? P.S, the wifes thong is chaffing my a**e
  18. sonofcork....a very frequent bidder on Mr X seller name who mostly just misses out, not this rime rhough
  19. Lol, i won't do that Peter, eventually people will waken up to what they BOTH do. The info on him is around the internet, a lot of people know what they do, so if they want to keep getting burnt then it's up to them. With his UNC grading, he's obviously going to try for top end price. Lets sit back and see where it goes.Any bets on price? I'm going for 4 figures at least It's also interesting that this account is not a business account, but that is clearly what they are doing. eBay are usually pretty smart at making the link between connected accounts. Ebay turn a blind eye when it comes to them making money.........Anyone got an Eimer book, looking for a typical price for Ei. 221 in EF (Charles II Coronation Medal by Thomas Simon) Ta

  21. You could easily have got much more than £400 for that one, Dave. Didn't realise that was you when I saw the seller, as I thought you were in Germany. A lustrous one went for £900 at London Auctions in September 2010. r one, as it was running well ahead on "bids" even before yours had sold, despite the fact that yours is a demonstrably superior grade, with lustre. Yep, something wrong there. It's patently obvious. Your coin shows up the problem in stark relief. I'm amazed they didn't pull the other one immediately, and wait. I started a small shop Mike with my buddy, it seemed more logical for me to send the coins to him other than from Germany as i believe that buyers when they see where a coin comes from they tend not to bid or buy as well as if it were in the UK So now i send all the coins to him, i do the listings etc and he ships the coins out, usually within 24hrs of payment.........I ask for paymnet within 3 days, keeps things turning over quicker, so i hope this buyer does also or else i relist.
