  1. Ita better than the one in the workman sale. Rob when you have a little joke at my expense, please try and bear in mind My 3 year old son is 100% handicapped and has had another months stay in hospital. Hence the reason i'm selling my megre collection, if you wish to donate please feel free You may resume your laughter if you so desire.
  2. Perhaps clutching at straws here, but maybe a damaged C wss used, if it is actually a C that it. Best pic i could get though, deslers gallery pic with a little enlargement by moi.
  3. Or was the O in VICTORIA actually a C from VICTORIA. Both seem to have the same shape. See what you think.
  4. I do have a 1940 BU Single Extregue Line
  5. , I remember it being the same with pannini football cards. I only EVER had Phil Thompson with a series of creases down the middle, because a girl (Jane Hicks, named and shamed) screwed it up the second I showed it off in the classroom. What a bitch !!!! That will teach you to stop boasting
  6. I did say small collection Rob.........My only KN, and am sure its not up to what you're looking for..
  7. You should see what some Americans charge UK buyers for postage. $32 isn't cheap either I've just bought a hammered coin from the states, with postage charge $16 - not bad I thought, but in his listing he writes: "USPS International Registered shipping takes 1-2 months to arrive so if this time frame does not work for you do not bid". Not that friendly a statement, so I queried it, thinking he must mean 1-2 weeks...nope, he means 1-2 months! I still bought it anyway...it hasn't arrived, yet! Wow 2 months, you're only allowed up to 49 days to open a PP case, so does sound like he's at it. Personally on that time frame i would'nt bother, it should never take up to 2 months to get a coin delivered from the USA....
  8. Ski, the 27 Florin went on eBay about 6 weeks ago, Sold for £155 i think it was
  9. Maybe I'm being over-sensitive here, but that seems a tad offensive. Somewhat, yes. Jews weren't even permitted to enter parliament until 1858, so why would a 17th century monarch be Jewish? You've been on the Dopelbock again Dave. Errrr no, it was a genuine question, sorry if it was'nt politically correct, i know how people in the UK love being so precise, anyway FYI, my wife is also jewish, so i've nothing against them what so ever and we live in Germany, so we've come a long way since 1939, my apologies if it offended anyone...
  10. Sorry..............Not losing interest, i'm looking to buy a house in Turkey........Not with the coins i have obviously, but in the future, i'll always have an interest in coins without doubt, but my son needs more of my time than my coins do unfortunately... So far, i'm still buying to sell and just got and 1824 Laurelet head Sov in EF........Plus my Pennies....Alot of which have come from people on here.....
  11. Ew! I know some people are into watersports Dave but ... selling your wee!?!?! Are you needing spex Richard? Weel?..............It says wee lol................Peter, no list but can present my small penny pix upon request, which i shall have to re photo after i lost the feckers during the great loss of 2011...... Sorry. Couldn't resist! And ... do you have a list? Any Charles I shillings ... if you decide to sell, that is?
  12. As the topic states, am thinking of selling my wee collection............Its not huge by any means, but 1 or 5 rarities in there...........Its a pondering thought so far...........
  13. He was as orange as you can get and supported Rangers I think John uses his flies and flying condoms (true name for a type of Salmon lure) Ok seriously..............Wullies hook is enormous, Johns is really small.........What gives with Wullis large hook,?
  14. I must agree with Steve, but he's obviously American........................... Can you tell why?
  15. A seller will obviously like to add his own litte piece to a coin in order to add value
  16. I've often wondered when looking at William III coinage whether he was Jewish, if not, what the hell happened to his nose. It has a hook that even John Stephenson could catch fish on. Anyone know?
  17. I'm going to dip my toe in here and say either Dutch or Norwegian, best i can do without the book. Someone will be along sooner or later with a better answer i'm sure.

  25. Most of the world has a climate, we have weather There's no such thing as the wrong weather just the wrong cloths Unfortunately there's not many Tarzans in this jungle who wear cloths these days. A big wooly jumper is sufficient. I'll keep my leapord skin loin cloth for the bedroom
