  1. He's maybe gearing up to sell the forgeries (which he probably still has) under the other username. You should have sent him the alibaba link to the 1864 florin and said that we found now where he was buying them In the councinmubity forum someone commented that he'd been selling fake spanish 8 reales, this other seller he's touting is selling on here 251200540790 add link please Is that on alibaba i wonder
  2. Bang to rights the Mr Dinsdale...... Mofo.... So he was buying at $59.99 which is around £38 and they were selling on eBay at around the £100, in total he sold 12 from August to october thats around £744 profit less the eBay fees on those 12 Coins alone
  3. Just need to find the gothic crowns on there and we'll have tied up dinsdale to a fecking pole the arsehole Is that florin die 64? Can't see from the aye phone
  4. It is quite a difficult site to navigate but I found 1822 crowns and Northumberland shillings. The amount he's has this year you could only assume they were from this Site as they seem to deal in bulk orders. Hopefully he's been hammered for a few quid. Is there pictures avaliable for download? Those would be handy references
  5. PCGS etc use a 1-70 scale CGS 1-100 scale. Ask Peter the same queation as he also quoted the MS61 grade as GEF:AU. Blanket out on this one now. Happy xmas
  6. This is gotta be where roydinsdaleuk was buying from
  7. I know of forgery Network but don't use it due to it being pretty difficult to navigate. I find predecimal.com much easier when looking at fakes
  8. Lets look at it this way Peter. If CGS were a garage and rejected every car they thought was a pile of junk they would'nt be in business very long. They are in the slabbing business and can only slab what's submitted. If people are stupid enough to slab a £1 coin and buyers stupid enough to buy it for £15 then its their problem. You and most collectors know what its worth and won't touch it. The seller will probably spend £15 on listing fees before its sold
  9. So people can make more money divemaster.
  10. Okay I will, thanks Dave, Stuart, Peter! I have laid out the princely sum of just under a tenner so far, so I don't feel I should have done it earlier!! I have about 10 books so far but none about hammered specifically ... Books are invaluable Stuart, especially if you intend to collect the subject. What we need though is a modern day book of fakes, i think that would be a best seller, outstripping even Harry Potter lol
  11. I've seen many more sellers saying people SHOULD buy TPGs slabs, its like they're trying to mass panic them into believing they have got to do so.............Sheep spring to mind Oh and MS61 is UK GEF/AU
  12. Ah yes, i can see them to, under the chin and going from the legend to the beard and unpwards to the lip
  13. The article that 1949 posted is basically there to tout American TPGs if you read it carefully
  14. Before After
  15. The final price will tell
  16. You should buy the book before the coin Paul
  17. Can't see any description about the coin, i can see however a full page description about postage rates and where he posts to
  18. Happy Birthday Bioab (the Scottish Version of Bob)
  19. Even so, such a tragedy to so many innocent people/families and those school kids who must eventually go back to that School, how will it also effect them in the Long run. Its about tine America done something about the ease of purchasing a gun. Hopefully something good will come out of yer another atrocity.....
  20. It was spinks or another british auction house i'm sure Rob but was in a different Position to mine
  21. My aFDC halfcrown (matte proof) only because of the flattening to the rim, funnily enough i saw one in auction recently with the same flat spot and wonder if this was a minting flaw?
  22. God i Love this forum banter i'll be looking after xmas Stuart, you have 13 days left yet to fill your boots
  23. Hello ladies, i'm here and reading. I have to admit that i did like the coins you previously posted Stuart, i'm also leaning towards the Charles I/II coinage along with just nice specimen coinage. More Reading to be done on the farthing side first before purchasing anything plus the purse is closed until next year but u will get a copy of the book. Ps, book purchased:)
  24. Also reported it due to the fact he relisted it and STILL did'nt mention it was a forgery
