  1. Womder if his mate got a bargain then
  2. He does come up with the goods Paul, unfortunately 90% is Rather inflated/cleaned/dipped, its up to the individual if they want to chance it. I doubt he'll be overly happy at the price, i guess he was looking for £750+ unfortunately as i've also noticed, no one is buying on ebay right now, possibly waiting on the last few auctions of the year such as DNW tomorrow.
  3. Problem being, Martin Platt is the seller. £503 i doubt he'll be happy with that considering he wrote in his description Almost impossible to locate in any condition, this coin would make a wonderful addition to any serious early 18th century pattern halfpenny collection. A similar coin sold in March 2013 at auction for £750 although we believe this example to be superior. He was probably hoping for £750 plus
  4. I didn't think it was you, Bernie. I sat next to a penny collector who knows you well. There were other buyers in the room, 2 more on the phone and lots of proxy bids. Possibly our newest member then, Rashenly2? I know (if its the same man) that he's a serious penny collector also
  5. Various countries grading scales. Thanks David

  11. Lol, thats probably a rogue spy satellite that the NSA has lost contro of. Speaking of morality etc and obviously not trying to get to deep into the subject of polotics, but when did the Government lose touch. This conservative bunch of actors has just NO IDEA of how to Govern. Behind closed doors their wallets are getting fatter and fatter while bleeding the underprivelidged dry, this is like going back to the days of Robin Hood, in fact its not even done behind closed doors. If this were the 1600s i could see why there was a civil war and i know which side i'd be on, they have completely lost touch with the common man, i read somewhere the other day that Cameron had a wee drugs problem a while back?
  12. I hope it won't be to Long before we're no longer a part of Westminster. Are you eligible to vote in the independence referendum, Dave? Or is it just those who currently live in Scotland? Only residents of British nationality can vote. Just looked it up and it seems that residents from Commwealth and EU countries can also vote. Correct.Incorrect, only those Residenz in Scotland can vote
  13. http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=261335430228 Copy? This looks a bit casty also 261335430521
  14. I don't think it will happen either Derek, people are to scared, but for me i've had enough of a Westminster Government who see to Test every f Ing policy out of Scotland First. Enorme it Rolls out to the Rest of the UK. England has no interest in us apart from the oil
  15. I hope it won't be to Long before we're no longer a part of Westminster. Part of Westminster? Goodness, then why did I have to drive all the way through blasted Northumbria to get there? Silly me!Next time I'm shopping at Fortnums I'll pop over and see you then Dave. What's the nearest tube stop again? Moosach Bahnhof Richard

  17. MS 60-65 ish is an American grade which we don't use in the UK, we have a different scale. By the sounds of it you might be looking to sell it as "the finest known" variety, i know i'm not in the market for one but these types of hypes does nothing for me and i'm not sure what it would do in America either, but if you ship it to Heritage you'd need at LEAST $5000 worth of coins for it to even be of interest to them. so the question is, are you looking to sell? Are you looking for valuation? Your best bet would be CGS if you're keeping it and just want it valued.

  19. You'd need to Register to be able to look up the CGS Population report
  20. Seems not judging by his latest penny offering
