  5. I think this flaw due to die fill occurs on a variety of years if folk look out for them. The 1934 missing waves is no different, but has the kudos of an example being in the Bernie Weightman sale. So they are of interest to those who collect die clogs etc, but I certainly do not think it has any place in a gallery of rare varieties.
  6. See this 2p varieties
  7. 1929 penny, missing waves and normal
  8. Definitely die fill in my view, I don’t have a 1934, but I have very similar from both 1929 and 1931

  10. The baby is EDVIII comes in two common varieties, 1896 and 1897, the former advertising Remington. I seem to remember a smaller white metal version exists
  11. I was lucky with this one, bought as a standard 1915, the broken tooth is much less than the 1916 recessed ear variety. Be nice to find a recessed ear 1915 from an early strike without damage
  12. Give one to a small child as a gift, and it will broken open in 5 minutes. That’s why toys still in the box fetch a high premium
  13. Not aware of any decimal issues, but then never checked. I did pull several well circulated 1953 pennies out of circulation back in the day

  15. my assumption too, i wonder if a specialized Bolivian catalogue exists with more info
  16. Circulation issue of the above, with privy marks for Paris mint. A single year type difficult in high grade
  17. Working for years in the NHS I came across lots of names Theresa Green works best with a Scouse accent. But I still remember the little 5yr old called Annette Curtin David

  19. Thanks guys. Ann-Marie had been ill a long time, the hospital told us over a year ago that there was nothing further they could do. Three weeks ago she was readmitted, they discharged her saying the choice was the hospice or home. We took her home and she passed away last Thursday. Can't thank the District and Macmillan nurses enough, they did their very best to ensure she did not suffer.
  20. Grease fill ??
  21. I have to admit to being a date set collector, but I am old enough to have completed the penny one of each date set from circulation, all bar the 1951 ( I bought one a couple of years ago) It's when you start trying to get all the varieties that the fun starts
  22. Three more fake bun pennies here and in seller's other listings, though these are all listed as forgeries
  23. another dangerous modern fake, 1933 penny
