  7. used CGB.FR myself, because I have a good collection of french pieces myself. they also cover the variaties
  8. if it was an intentional mark, why not just do what they did before and after, and slap the mark near the date? it is a die chip probably.
  9. the high tides dont come up that often, they do often sneak under the radar as well bought ages ago for a single bid off ebay
  10. that 1692 is overstruck on something. just because there is no information, doesnt mean it doesnt exist of course.
  11. i had a look at that one myself. thought no due to the angle of the centre point.
  12. done some research, not one find of such an error. the interesting thing I did find, was in my searches I found 2 BRIIANNIA error, also the obverse V's on closer inspection looks like they all were inverted A but someone spotted the mistake and replaced with V's possibly, cant be 100% but looks like there are remains of bars in all of them, very faint in the first. unbarred A's in Britannia is also noted for the year, having a closer look at the date looks to be the large numerals (which were used in 1701 incedently) recut over smaller? which possibly means an issue late in the year, before moving on to the 1701's especially with the dye wear noticable on ovbverse the main error is clear.
  13. ay, i find most of these my accident, i'm just thorough i alreayd have a decent 1861 farthing, and i'm still pondering that shilling
  14. hard to say where to sell those then, coins would always sell better where there is a demand for them, so in the country of origin, as well as the british markets due to colonial issues.probably, so the internet is a good start.
  15. Lovely farthing, looks to be a die crack at the R in BRITT to victorias head as well.
