it all gets too american we we start counting those die flaws and little blobs and cuds as variaties. I like the date spreads, the extreme wide ones in that lot are interesting and obvious.

yea, there is a massive bulk lot on ebay, i saw it a couple of days ago, a good 20+ hammered, cut halfs through to decent tudor. depends what you see, it is surprising what gets missed in bulk lots even with them in the picture. grabbed TERTVS error halfpenny, lustrous viccies and scarcer hammered (bristol penny and that saxon were in 2 small lots) in cheap lots with them in the picture clearly shown (well the bristol wasn't), had a couple of fragments of Edward VI shillings too. but I was refering more to roman coinage, which you can get by the bucketload in bulk. especially detector lots, just need to clean them up of course.

depends, I got a small lot of hammered containing a SAxon cut quarter once for not that much, there will be resale value if you do your homework.

did you hit the button that gives only the few buttons hidden at the top? easy to restore that. hard to explain, but I hit something from time to time that makes everything dissapear, you can just maximise from the normal location.
