  1. I suppose then, that you finally got it in the end.........
  2. Something else of interest, and pertinent . And No, my dad was not involved in the invasion. He was assigned elsewhere.
  3. Here's my Dad's WW2 Medals. It looks like it might work
  4. A member since 2005, I got my one year badge too. At that rate, I'm only a bit more than 3.5 years old
  5. I have one listed on ebay at the moment. The same short sea/rock formation, repaired E's, die cracks. Ebay item#: 326743200377
  6. Thank you, that explanation seemed most likely to me also.
  7. I just listed this coin on ebay and was looking for some thoughts on it. The E in ONE has protrusions from the left side of the upright. At times it looks like it might have been punched with the E upside down, and then corrected. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas??? Thanks, Gary
  8. Not letting me quote and post, so just answering. I'm tempted to say 1843. Seeing the obverse could possibly dissuade me from that temptation.
  9. I have this issue too intermittently. Even just on a plain text post.
  10. Those were the copper half pennies. These are the Bronze half pennies
  11. Not yet, I'll be saving the pennies for last. This time around it will be the half pennies.
  12. Yes, and I am now thinking of disposing of my bronze half pennies. A lot of work on ebay with little reward. Unless I can find a buyer for the entire collection. I'll have to make a decision.
