OK I cracked..being a died in the wool predecimal collector.I bought all 26 10p's yesterday....ban cheap red wine I say. I have tried to find mintages. The only thing I have learnt is that most of the Olympic 50P's are not found regularity in circulation. Proves coins are fascinating a new generation.Imagine if a newbie collector buys a Kew 50P (probably Chinese) and then finds out he could of bought a few quality Ed1 pennies. I bought a BU Kew 50p for £3.50 back in the day...low mintage no brainer...daily mail /Sun readers it will soon be buying me a few quality hammered.
  7. One day Coincraft will catch up with their pricing.I suppose they only need a couple of mugs per week.
  8. Georgie was last seen in Ibiza last summer throwing a few shapes.
  9. Bought this tonight. Nice bit of history https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1916-Gearge-V-Florin-Forgery-desroyed-by-Westminster-Bank-/142741971845?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=jNF0IjG%252BVExvcP7TErSP7gT03kU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
  10. I would prefer to wipe my arse with a kipper...sorry bud...but that doesn't do my coin buzz.
  11. Muggins here is going to pay for their Honeymoons...Great Yarmouth in a B&B is missing from their agenda's ...I did take Mrs Peter to Kenya on honeymoon we had room 69 and the tour operator couldn't understand why on the return from Safari I requested the missionary room...I was tongue tied....Happy memories.
  12. My eldest managed to right off Mrs Peters car.She wanted to get on my MG's insurance but Mr insurance said no...Mrs Peter and her daughters have had so many accidents..the youngest even managed to smack my car with my wheel barrow...it is a BIG NO.
  13. I can't afford one YET but it is on my coin radar. My eldest daughter visited yesterday and I flippantly told her to help herself to my change pot...she took the lot.Word will get out and my youngest will visit soon. Siege piece will have to wait..

We need a venue to fit Rob in but any requirements of travel I can sort.(Peck)..Chris is also welcome. It is my birthday today and have been swamped by Malt,Cubans and cash....silly ebay purchase envisaged. (Mother says drop down on your drinking and smoking)Monte Christo's & malt is what I got. Luckily Mrs Peter won't see the curtains turn brown or my attempts at peeing I reckon I have a 5 yarder in me (if I open the kitchen door)
  20. May I add that I really appreciate history BUT if a coin is not aesthetically pleasing but still extremely rare I couldn't entertain it. I have 1 tin farthing but cannot or will not purchase further "tins" Likewise a BU lustred coin with a carbon spot.I would much rather have a brown coin.
  21. Well done Stewie. Unfortunately for my Daawg the steak was enjoyed by me....although he did get a piece...Those big brown eyes as he creeps closer and closer. I tell him not to beg but heck it just bounces off his Springers ears. I often make my own Pizza but always make sure a section has no onion or chilli so I blame myself.
  22. Funnily enough the coin RETAILS !!! at £18.95
  23. Paddy If you get any closer than London mint my daawg can have my rib-eye steak planned for my supper.
  24. I take it that it is for all the 224,918 coins minted.
