    There were only dump issue farthings and 1/2d's minted between 1717-24.Dump refers to the dumpy appearance of the flan.There are many varieties.If you have a low grade coin it will be worth diddly.

    Oh dear the coin doesn't touch EF....too many hours on ebay methinks.It grades NVF at best.

    It is mid grade/awful strike.Why can't you see it? Grading will double the cost of the coins worth.

    northern deer is tougher than a Manc on special brew.Avoid if possible.

    Don't get it graded and enjoy a mid grade farthing (sorry Colin) that is a thrower.

    You have too many properties. I have 2 and carefully managed by my big friends.The 1st sign of problems and those shites are out.My current tenants know this.

    If you send it off for TPG you are missing the point. It will be sending a sausage down the Dartford tunnel.Buy from Chris,Rob,Colin or other dealers and you won't need some other TWAT to tell you what you have. Your farthing is a Crap coin...I don't like telling people but your coin is 10p value and a thrower.

    BTW your 1d is a thrower.Put it in a nice wood for future detectorists to find.The coin is worth 5p in copper.

    If circulated about £5/£6 trouble is these coins were collected in the 60's and were taken from change.My grandfather had over 20 1946 3ds from change and are worth diddly. If only he took Unc 50's 2/6d's out of the market or even Pre 47 silver. We all live and learn.

    1961 are rare because all the boys born in that year had large Penis's and could put many of them under their foreskins.....that is why I collect farthings ...61 boy here.
