While not every ‘private listing’ seller is of dubious character, those of poor character almost invariably make their listings private. As suggested I suspect this is to enable shill bidding. There is no need for it. Jerry

The item has been marked as a 'private listing', so even less can be seen of the bidding than usual. Private listing to me equates to stay away.

Thanks for the feedback. I've collected since being a kid, on and off, but know little beyond the basics- learning more recently, and finding the overstrikes and errors on the pennies very interesting. As you say Jelida, the stick is too short to even look like a Y. It's my most interesting Victoria penny though for it- I will try and get up a picture of the whole coin when I get the chance.

I bet you don't like selling coins to Germans then. I mean you just know they are going to take them home and clean them! There is nothing as depressing (in my opinion) as seeing something like a beautifully blue toned Gothic Crown/Florin after the silvo/brasso has dealt it a blow. Can't say i have seen it, but sadly i can imagine it. I bet there are some morons out there that would clean one of those coins, because afterall bright white is obviously the best by far! Sometimes you could bang their heads together.

"feedback" is the shortest English word with the first six letters of the alphabet in it..... And you thought Sunday evenings weren't exciting enough......:)
