i do have a soft spot for these, bearing in mind Ingram coins sold me one of these for £550 and i had a hell of a time getting any of my money back, so i don't think a £20 note for this inc postage is a bad deal, maybe he will give me £300 for it !!!! anyway it has a nice bit of cameo going on there
It has been nestling in the garage for the last 3 years...going for the MOT on Wednesday after a complete oil and fluid transfusion. My mother (84 yrs old)has just got out of Papworth after a triple bypass....she wants to do the fast shopping trip again....I'm not trying to kill her off....honestly.

The old boot buys me a coin at Xmas and my birthday...great Mum.
Hi there paddy 1882 H used to be a scarce date in EF plus but I think a large number of high grade coins came on the market a few years ago (pos. from a hoard)and its easy to get an A/unc coin for £15 -£20 now .
Yours is however as nice a coin as you will find without lustre , I would grade as EF maybe GEF
Everything else he has listed is modern and I'm guessing he didn't know 1) what it is and 2) what its worth (not that I do either). I never expected to win it though and I can see many hours being spent on trying to find out what it is! Another item to add to my collection of 'unusual'
Its 32mm so half crown size, I know it will be rejected but I'm going to put a cheeky offer of £50 in and see what happens as I rather like it. that's my limit though!
