hi thanks for the welcomes. well i'm 29, married and have a 2 year old. i live in coventry. i have a few hobbies but love collecting coins old and new unc and proof. i own quite a few pre decimal sets and i am building up a penny collection. i've just started metal detecting so hopfully i'll find some interesting coins at some point.

you might need a bit to get some pennies .

try metal dectecting all of your own area if you have it natural

Many of us like pennies, so you'll have plenty of (friendly) competition! Good luck with your collecting, and also detecting (but don't expect to find many collectable coins that way, though you'll find plenty of interesting stuff).

My mum once fed us haggis. She never did again.

(To be fair - its worst fault was being over-salty.)
