Unwilling Numismatist Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 I think I'm going to avoid the M5 completely this weekend, the weather forecast suggests it will be a massive car park for the whole weekend. Sorry @Paddy, not this weekend! Quote

Paddy Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 I had a nice long walk on the South West Coast path in North Devon. The only problem was there was no sunshine as we had the Irish Sea mist instead! But a good day's exercise... Quote

Ukstu Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 I didn't get far but i had a lovely surprise BBQ thrown for my birthday yesterday. Wish we could have more weather like this weekend it's been amazing. Quote
copper123 Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 At least if you go out you don't tend to upset yourself or other people by getting pissed at a BBQ , much fun it is though. 1 Quote

I don't drink much anyway. I've got problems with my stomach that limit what i can drink. Think it was the drink that screwed it up hammering it in my wilder days. Quote

Rob Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 (edited) I was in Devon this weekend. My eldest got married, so a farmhouse and barns was hired for a few days for the ceremony and celebrations. Just short of a hundred guests including a couple dozen from as far away as New Zealand and a good time was had by all. Seriously hot though. I can report that the M5 was freer than expected today. Brilliant Rob I've got a £10k in November plus honeymoon. Quote
Rob Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 They can pay for their own honeymoon. A month trekking in the Himalayas in the autumn is a bit too much. Anyway, I have number two to sort out soon. Quote
Peter Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 I will happily pay out for the honeymoon...we did Kenya with a safari ....my eldest dress costs more than my honeymoon...WTF. Quote
