The F69 isn't as rare as the F76, but like the F76, it's extremely difficult to get one in decent grade. I was very lucky to get one at auction in GVF when John Stephenson auctioned his late Father's collection in August 2017.

There is an EF F69, and the F76 from the Laurie Bamford collection is about GEF.

I know of an UNC F69 with almost full lustre.............Although he wont sell it me ☹️

Would he give you a pic of it to post on here, Pete - with anonymity assured?

Ah, so they remain up to EF only, Pete.

Not that I personally know of, but do keep an eye on London Coins Auction. They've had a few down the years. Indeed a very nice no issues specimen approaching VF, went for the bargain basement hammer price of £450 in March 2014.

Of course, their December catalogue will be up in just...what.....2 to 3 weeks time.

I purchased this as was in an Auction (Part LOT) described as Doubled 9,4 & 5.

Sent to CGS as at the time i hadnt seen another and was a decent grade (CGS graded UNC) ,the coin is alot darker than appears in the picture.

Anyway i didnt query the attribution due to it being rejected and they graded as just a doubled 9 which IMO i am sure it isnt, although if its any use to someone and your not happy i will pay the return postage.

Its not in a plastic slab (just a flip with the sticker on ) and can mail  the picture of the OBV if anyone is interested.

£25 Posted.

Will start it off at £65 including postage and just keep reducing it ,bit like an auction but backwards :D

Please post on here if you want it rather than message me ,which makes it fairer for people with more than 40 posts.

I mean on finding a nice one.

The F177 is the most common of the 1913  Ian and IMO often well struck ,should not be to hard to find a really nice one.

Pete.
