VickySilver Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 (edited) 139, 141,142,147 Think I may have got it wrong then & as I have a 1905 already hope you got the one you were looking for, only looking to upgrade a bit. I wasn't really a "player" in this auction! I don't remember bidding on the 141 at all! I didn't so much mind the cleaned '05. Edited June 2, 2016 by VickySilver Quote

I've been trying to get an F14 for several years. They don't come up that often and when they have, they've always previously eluded me. So to obtain this one so easily, relatively speaking, was a rare moment of triumph. Also pleased with the F74 specimen. Only need the F77 now to complete the entire 1874 series. Quote
PWA 1967 Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 Hat off. The F77 i have not even got in a low grade ,happy hunting Quote

I reckon the F77 is actually somewhat scarcer than generally thought, especially in high grade. Although Jerry picked up a nice one recently. Quote
IanB Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 My first chance today to have a look at my new arrivals, very pleased and they arrived already in quadrums. I hope Mr Copethorne did well out of the sale and just to let him know, the ones I purchased have gone to a good home. "A penny is not just for Christmas its for life" 1 Quote

The 1932 proof didn't photograph very well as it's in a slab and my 1934 photo doesn't capture the mirror finish - but they are both lovely ! Quote
PWA 1967 Posted June 5, 2016 Author Posted June 5, 2016 Yes i have seen them in hand and although dont buy proofs i must admit i was tempted with the 1934 Quote
