  1. It's a farthing.
  2. Bit surprised no one's answered you yet so I'll have a go. Freeman 10, Obverse 2 Reverse D.
  3. I liked the way cats in Istanbul don't have specific owners. Community cats really, cared for and fed by many.
  4. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134155113006?hash=item1f3c44922e:g:bPEAAOSwVnpitcJr "I need the money to pay for my carers, and nurses" Honest reason for sale, at least.
  5. My local hospital recently unearthed a time capsule from 1903 and there was a picture in the paper of some coins, including an uncirculated penny. Unfortunately they only pictured the obverse - all I could think was "turn it over".
  6. That looks pretty decent to me. Don't recall seeing a better.
  7. https://dbuxton.notion.site/dbuxton/Becoming-a-Homes-for-Ukraine-sponsor-d38cd6e322e04b8ba18cf0af7abd5c63 https://homesforukraine.opora.uk/Login.asp OPORA is useful and can provide additional support with travel etc.
  8. I went to a zoo once. There was only a dog there. It was a Shih Tzu.
  9. Note to self: look harder. I thought the die crack above the R matched but can now see it's in a different place. I don't see a flaw in the forehead where I would expect to see one for obverse 5 though.
  10. Only checked the obverse.
  11. I can't see any reason to disagree with your ID Gary.
  12. What's the point? They won't do anything that interferes with their profits.
  13. What year is it please Richard?
  14. Well I'd always defer to those with more knowledge but I'm struggling to otherwise explain the increased thickness of the 3 at that point.
  15. To my inexpert eye, I think there's die wear here giving a thicker lower curve of the three, which makes the bottom appear squarer.
  16. Are you lost Pete? What are you doing in this thread? 😮
  17. I wouldn't have been surprised if I'd seen this on the "ebay's worst offerings" thread. But at DNW?
  18. One on a token obverse, if it's of interest.
  19. I'd quite like to know how many people actually fall for it.
  20. This is mental. In my mind it's no different to buying an acre of the moon. I want my part out of the slab please.
  21. They've been around for a good while I think. Blindingly obvious too.
  22. Beyond my abilities I'm afraid.
