  3. These metal detecting finds are going to another level now.Not £100 Not £300 but £44K. 1933 penny he found in Norfolk
  4. A couple of people have messaged me.........The list is sent out every month email / hardcopy. The new coins are NOT on the webite yet and only go on after a couple of weeks. If you want the list just phone or send an email to Colin cooke coins FAO Lee........Although the lines may be busy as the list only went out yesterday
  5. It will take a few minutes Dave as you have probably found out due to so many being added with pictures
  6. Its worth looking who they were playing though Peck. I have a mate who is really into football programmes and its the smaller clubs playing somebody who are now followed that can fetch good money as not as many were printed. Such as Brentford V Man city if in good condition (like coins) would be worth a few quid. Most of the big games thousands were printed and people put them away so easy to find in alot of cases. Worth having a look who they were playing against .
  7. There is one on the Colin cooke new list for £110 that will be alot better than that
  8. Colin Cooke got a new list out today with lots of new stock
  9. You only have to win the lottery occasionally Bookies love them small stake large return even a bonus for all correct thats why high street shops are full of tickets and signs on the wall. Even more so with a reult/results that finish later than the others. The software they have in place allows them to lay any potential big loss off by using betfair/another bookmaker. They then are the people telling the press we have just paid Mrs Jones £""""""""" for a 50p stake for the free advertising. The smaller independents all have a sign on the wall with a maximum payout to cover themselves although they dont put it in big writing on the door Its a fun bet that thousands do and one to enjoy. Anyone reading this though stick to buying a coin
  10. He says "i could of died" well the answer to that is dont cement your head in a microwave. They should of charged him a complete and utter waste of valuable time for the emergency services who struggle to look after people as it is,not loonies who cement there head in a microwave........ I hope not but maybe one day one of his family may need an ambulance but cant get there because another loon has had a go.
  11. A LOW grade 1856 PT. A scarce date and problem free in a cgs slab graded 10. Thought i would put on here before i pass it on CGS price is £75.......£50 including postage. Only a gap filler as a good one is going to be alot more. PM me if you want a picture. Pete.
  12. You only have so long to be able to edit a post i think its an hour so wont show after
  13. With a response like that i have just messaged him also. Hope he gives me a nasty reply as not in the best of moods this morning to start off with He should of just taken it down instead of trying to steal money from someone ..............
  14. No Declan recut numbers / letters and ones double struck are common in the Copper pennies. Overdates are more sought after such as 1848/6 1854/3 etc. Although if you look at 1848 they are quite scarce NOT over a 6 or 7 If the 1841 is yours there is one with the Bramah 2c F in DEF worth looking for and Colons after REG is much scarcer.
  15. They do a really good job LCA to get so much every three months , considering they are never flexible and already doing the next one.
  16. The category is automatcally set at English hammered were the options are just change to select category and should work Richard ?.
  17. Hi and welcome to the forum. Thats a lot of questions and a really good first post............ sure you will get some answers First one is dont IMO try to clean or buy anything for the next couple of weeks and spend the time reading old threads etc. If you type in the search box top right anything your interested in , its probably been discussed before. Pete.
  18. Yes even his towing eye is probably snide
  19. Sad i only wish more people would come on this forum before spending there money. Some will stop collecting when they find out that some are crap and may of spent a good few quid. The sellers though really get on my nerves with there blatant bol"""ks.
  20. I think the seller will be more than happy
  21. Not knowing anything about these i have been looking with interest. Martins post above is the best indicator i would of thought as not any doubt. I of DEI to bead........Looks to be spot on if OBV 1 is to gap Also the + Nick mentions although again would need to see the other OBV. Ideally be nice to see two coins pictured the same size next to each other......but obviously different OBV .
  22. Yes.....I think on that side i am probably passed any help Hope your dad recovers quickly from the op Jerry Dont be joking Terry........We need to start training for it and just putting my trainers on , will be at your house in an hour Yes good timing Richard although i am still sore from the scarring its nice to know it will calm down and i am keen to move forward now. Thanks all Pete
