  1. It's not an Internet issue your side? As in, did other sites load ok and just predecimal wasn't working? And was it phone/tablet or computer?
  2. And what a spiel trying to make it sound genuine, also no returns hahahaha, good luck.
  3. Unfortunately, the hollow neck and the obverse 2 also have the same amount of teeth, I was going to suggest counting them to differentiate.
  4. Looks like a regular obverse 2 to me, perhaps in the latter stages of the die's life so the teeth have been filled a little and making them not so thick and harder to judge. There's no known hollow neck for this year, at least not in the sense of gouby's obverse X. The hollow neck variety should always point to a tooth, if it doesn't then it's just the regular obverse A (or obverse 1).
  5. Thanks Brian and good spot!
  6. Nice collection of different tonings Brian. The top right one almost looks untoned?
  7. What're the odds I'll be stealing a screenshot if you don't mind?
  8. I don't get that privilege anymore but there are loads on eBay that have been taken out of change so they're definitely out there somewhere.
  9. If anyone has found a few in change and has one spare, let me know I need to add one to my collection (the currency piece that is)
  10. It looks like the same bottom half of the 3 (compared to the second picture) but the top serif is slanting downwards, unlike the second one.
  11. Nice lot of ha'pennies!
  12. The same reason as I mentioned about the Angel, you can see WRL stamped into it
  13. Always worth a gamble for things like that, would've been the first clogged 2 of that year.
  14. Yeah same coin, what a shame Big gash to the left of the second N in PENNY Looks like he had gunk on his camera which blocked out the tooth, and the crud in the 2 made it look filled in the first pictures, I assume.
  15. Just spotted the tell tale sign..WRL..about 8pm on the Angel side. This means, unfortunately, that it's a replica! Made by Westair Reproductions Limited.
  16. Welcome to the forum Paul! Regarding the 'gold' coin, what I think that you have there is an Angel (Richard II - 1483-1485), based on the images. I'm not too well versed in hammered coins so someone with a bit more experience will definitely be able to confirm it. I'm looking at images here to try and ascertain what it is. (picture attached) It's a little strange that it's silver coloured, so not sure about authenticity. But I hope that gives you a starting point to get researching!
  17. Is it the same coin but pictures were misleading, or a totally different coin?
  18. I have a similar one too, although it's a 'double head' penny. Also they decided to use 2 different monarchs to create it. You can see on the right where the coin has slotted into the other half.
  19. Come to think of it, the pictures show the obv. and rev. side by side and touching each other, do the 2 halves separate by any chance?
  20. I thought so too, but I suspect something's amiss.. Nice example too, all the classic (error) features of a 1920
  21. The only one I have is just partially blocked, but it is aUNC
  22. @Gary1000, is that not the notorious Freeman 189?
  23. A bonus then, and you can't really go wrong at that price. Always nice to get a decent example of something like this for a quid.
  24. Thanks! You've got 2 of the best clogged 2's I've seen, pretty much completely blocked on both.
  25. Wow, that is a beaut, didn't even know of a clogged 2 on a 1932! Nice find Brian! Any chance you could send a microscope photo to me once you get it, so I can add it to the list?
